I'm interested in doing video reviews and/or Let's Plays of Wii/GC games, but I have trouble finding a decent device for my needs. Can anyone recommend a not too expensive (USB) device for this purpose? Also, are there any devices out there that support component cable, or do I have to resort to composite?

First thing that comes to mind is a TV Tuner card. Last I heard, those are able to record from Composite (the colored plugs), so try looking into those. I estimate they should be between $40 and $120 dollars for an average one.

Well, I've been looking into this (http://ati.amd.com/products/tvwonder650/usb/index.html) (ATI TV Wonder™ HD 650 Combo USB), but I haven't run a price check on it yet to see if it's worth it.

From what I've heard, most decent LP'ers use a Gamebridge (http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3535)

No component though, just composite and S-video
