Recently been playing Scythe II (http://doom.wikia.com/wiki/Scythe_2) via ZDOOM port and on map 11 "UAC Base X" the track sounded so familiar to me but I couldn't pinpoint as to where I've heard it before.
At first I was thinking maybe it was one of the Megaman Zero games on the GBA, but the track also reminded me of R-Type but which one I'm not sure.
