NiGHTs into dreams was released on July 5th, 1996. It is a game that means a lot to me, and has a fantastic soundtrack that I feel is in need of proper tribute. The 15th anniversary of the game’s release will be July 5th, 2011, and I can think of no better way to celebrate this than to organize and create a NiGHTs Arrangement project.

There will be a lot of art, and a lot of music. 2 Discs of music, in fact. The album doesn't have an overall musical theme, besides the inclusion of the NiGHTS motif in nearly every track, but rather a consistent level of quality in the ability to evoke various thoughts and images of dreams in the listener.

The tracklist is below:

Level 99, Avaris, and The Prophet of Mephisto - NiGHTs and Reala (The Nemesis Schema)
Level 99 - Growing Wings (Twin Seeds Flyby)
LuIzA - Deep It Lies (Lies within Dreams)

Yeah yeah, this is all your fault anyway. If you didn't do such a good job with the last one I wouldn't feel inspired to try it myself. Oh, and you PERSONALLY can't claim a track until I hear a report from Ms. OA that you've gotten some sleep, taken a vacation, and cleared your plate a bit of other stuff. :nicework:

Count me as interested. Maybe we should make a deal: you gimme a track for sd3, I'll give you one for this. :D

the only version i have of most of these songs is in mp3 form - the ones i got from you, stevo. there's no chiptune or anything of it due to the nature of most of the music.

Level 99

The Saturn doesn't have a chiptunes player as far as I know, and music actually changed with your playing, the moods of friendlies and enemies, and other things. I guess you could choose your styling variants if you wanted from that "complete" OST if you really wanted, but it has to be songs that were included in the game (none of the bonus tracks). I shouldn't directly link to a site that has the OST in MP3 format. But if you're having trouble finding the music, shoot me a PM and I'll point you in the right direction.

The Saturn doesn't have a chiptunes player as far as I know...

It may or may not be considered chiptune, but the soundtrack to Panzer Dragoon Zwei is PCM. There are a number of other Saturn games that used this format for their music as well.

As for this project, there is some great music in NiD. I thought about remixing a track from it once a long time ago (actually started it to), but never did get around to full-on making it. I got sidetracked by another remix, and NiGHTS fell by the wayside.

Anyway, it seems like a rough time to start this, given how many projects are going on now. But hopefully it'll pick up enough remixers over time so it gets done (even if it's not on time).

Best of luck guys. I'll be keeping an eye on this project.

You can take Dreams Dreams ~In Silent Memory~, I'll put your name on it. You're welcome to it by yourself if you didn't want to collab on that piece. Also, I believe Fishy expressed interest in She had long ears, and John Revoredo wanted The Dragon Gave a Loud Scream.

Just a tip for OA: Check out the song "The Mantle", and the saxophone sexiness there-in.

I've already told Wes I wanted to smack him for starting a new project before the last one was even done. But I've realized a while ago the reason for so many projects is the same reason people submit songs by the millions to OCR: we all wanna piece of the action in this awesome community. I already gave up waiting for any lulls in activity before introducing my own project, so be ready for it soon.

Anyway, I'm a fan of a lot of the NiGHTS music, but I'm not ready to commit yet. We'll see: the near future, if it's available, I'd love to be able to claim "Gloom of the N.H.C."

I can't wait to hear about it, bro. If/whenever you feel like dibbing that track, you know where we'll be. I figure that, at this pace, by this time a few years down the road, there will probably be thirty simultaneous projects. The community's only getting bigger and better.

Check out NiGHTs and Reala ~Theme of a tragedic revenge~. It's a harder-rockish version of the NiGHTs/Reala boss track. Since the song is done twice in the game in different styles, maybe it's only fitting that there be two different versions in the project.

See the original post, as I have updated the gameplan for claiming and doing songs. If you want a suggestion on a track to do orchestral, I can give you a few that might bode well in that area.

Yes, I'm accepting anyone's initial interest. Once you get a WIP in, that's where quality control comes in. I put your name next to Under Construction, the sooner you get a WIP in, the better, and that way we can see if you're on board. :-o

I have loved that tune forever

If I'm feeling funky and find a magic vocoder then I also has ideas for vocals.

Can't seem to PM on this machine and internets off till next week (payday) but I rea-ea-eally would like to be a part of this.

Also, I has no work on this site (but its on my bucket list to do so) but I has various works floating around somewhere - will collate links of my current level of ability and send to you next week. Some of my early mixes are still around and somewhat embarrasing looking back.

When I listen to "Dreams Dreams" I find myself wondering if Pixietricks (correct?) has thought about doing the female vocals.

That actually would be awesome to hear but IMO, Ashley Tisdale (IIRC) didn't do too bad on the song in Journey of Dreams.

All the different vocal performances of the song are pretty outstanding. The only one I have a love/hate relationship with is the acapella version from Christmas NiGHTs/Bonus, which I really have to be in the mood for.

Oh, and I was pushed into overdrive last night by a really good WIP by ProtoDome. That's officially the first WIP, and his prize is...nothing. Well, nothing except the awesome work thus far. So even if there's months before a deadline, doesn't mean work shouldn't start if it's possible

Yeah, but I'm still waiting for him to PM me/get in contact again (he said his internet's off til next week). Your name is on it, next to his, so talk with him if you want or just go ahead on your own. Wow, might end up with three NiGHTs/Reala mixes...intense. Hopefully that isn't overkill!

a) zircon just vomited cause you said that, I hope you're happy. You made zircon vomit on his honeymoon.

b) are you "the prophet of mephisto" or just "prophet", I am confused. I am error.

Random idea: If this will be two dics, I was thinking maybe there could be a "NiGHTs - Dreamers" disc, which all the orchestral, light techno, easy vocal mixes etc., and a "Reala - Nightmares" disc with all the kickass rock and heavier stuff. Depends on what is turned in, but it would probably be nice to have mood-suited music divisions. Just a thought.

Yeah, I remember the creator saying they wouldn't make another unless they improved the way the game was played (different method of controls was implied) as opposed to just doing a big redux of the original. Ironically, the PS2 remake came out (Japan only, *sigh*), and the sequel on Wii, which I can understand would qualify as changing the way it's played. It's a shame about the Wii version's difficulty, especially since it's the only NiGHTs a lot of people younger than us possibly know.

Yes, I'm double-posting, because (as soon as my hand recovers) I wanted to know if anyone's down for a collab on Paternal Horn. I'm thinking either smooth lounge jazz (a chance for me to break away from the distorted-to-oblivion guitars and open up my approaches to style) or chirpy pop-techo-rock.

Oh, and just some general updates: I've received updated WIPs from ProtoDome and HitoriJaNai, which are progressing nicely. About half the song-list has been claimed and I've personally been slowly progressing on my stuff. As things are wrapping up with a number of other projects, I'm hoping this can be kicked into gear between now and the end of Summer. Blahblahblah...

Looks good mang, things are looking good here methinks. I've got an idea of what style I'd like to do my song in. I'd like to keep the details and the WIP private until the release though, so perhaps I'll talk to you sometime about it on irc. As for the art, well, I've got a new computer which has an extremely tiny screen. I've got to consider installing CS4 on the larger computer. :)

There are a lot of reasons why this has such seemingly-extended deadlines. 1) There are way more than just a handful of projects going on at the same time, and more are getting started all the time, so in order to keep the pressure down and allow some of the busier-but-also-mega-talented-people to contribute. 2) Including the reason mentioned previously, I'd like to not sacrifice quality for and earlier release time. 3) Projects normally go through many phases of existence. Many start with ambitious deadlines and, many project coordinators will tell you, that deadlines almost always change at some point. This kind of semi-lax schedule will also go through that almost-definite change later on, but this allows sufficient time for things to be done properly. 4) The timeline allows the release date itself to be significant. FF4 project was released in-between when the remake came out on the DS and Wii-ware continuation came out. Whether or not that was completely intentional, it was definitely beneficial as interest in it was higher, etc. The NiGHTs projected timeline shoots for a release on or around the 15th aniversary of the original game's release.

So...there ya go. Don't let that stop you from getting progress done on yours now. Quite the opposite, the sooner your progress and WIP submission the better so that we can evaluate and give recommendations if it passes the preliminary quality bar. :-o

Knowing anything about projects, 2011 sounds like a realistic timeframe.

You'll have claimed status on Paternal Horn until a WIP is in. I had been entertaining this possibility at first and decided against it for now, at least until all the other NiGHTs tracks are taken. I'd much rather have the entire first OST included than miss a few tracks and include more from Christmas NiGHTs. If we have time after all the other tracks have been claimed and have some work done on them, we'll talk, but I'll keep any pre-dibs on tracks in mind just incase it comes to that.

Here's my thoughts:

1) a bit small and low-res. I think something around the size of the FF4 banners was what I had in mind
2) NiGHTs doesn't kind of look like NiGHTs (In fact, it kind of looks like the shadow of VIOLA from Zone of the Enders if I'm thinking of the right thing).
3) It just says a NiGHTs project remixer. I would much rather have a banner that doesn't require one to be a project musician to have it posted in their sig. I'd want something that members of the project and fans as well can use.

Hold off on your art for now, Oinkness. I'll get back to you.

I may be a bit new around these parts but I wouldn't mind giving a stab at anything that's not taken. Picked the game up a couple years ago on ebay. Got the Japanese version since it was easier/cheaper to get. Awesome game! Still beats the pants of the newer Wii version.

Edit: It just hit me: This year, FF4 project was released in July, around the time of Otakon. Depending on when Otakon is, and as long as the project is released on or around the projected release date...I just may have to throw another listening party like I did for FF4. That would be ridiculous, if all the piece just fell into place and not only was the project successfully released then but at the listening party I can guarentee* there wont be any naked people busting in at the end!

So some news on the project:

1) There were blog posts over on Sega Europe and Sega America Blogs about NiGHTS: Lucid Dreaming and OCReMix. They were a result of my asking the NiGHTSintodreams.com forum people for some help with a big vocal arrangement I'm working on for the project, and apparently things worked out in such a way to result in the blog posts. It was pretty crazy. Needless to say, that arrangement will end up with more-than-enough vocal parts by the time their submission cutoff date is. :-o
2) WIP 1 deadline is slowly drawing closer, so mixers, your inboxes will get a friendly reminder sometime over the weekend to "encourage some progress" and refresh your memory on the dates.
3) Two-three potential artists and one potential web designer on board at the moment, just either waiting for their responses, first pieces of work, or for more information. :nicework:
4) Yes, I will end every numbered entry with some kind of Smilie..except this one.

If anyone has questions about deadlines or anything, please send me a message. If you're thinking of dropping your track, I'ma use my puppy-eyes on you

I'll think about letting you claim a second track after you get in a WIP for your first one. You're admitting that you already have a couple other things on your plate, so why are you opting for a second track before I see work on the first? And people can do a lot with 40 seconds of source. I wouldn't want the track done just to get it done, as that wouldn't even give the track feeling, especially at a short source length.

I am planning on a lossless release along with MP3. So once you finish your song, please send me a WAV. You can also send an MP3 as well, for preview purposes, but for the final release, I will be encoding all the MP3s myself from the WAV files. I need the WAV to change song statuses to complete. I know for many of you, the final versions of the songs are probably ways away, but better to know what to expect now.

Once December 1st hits, expect activity to ramp up for a little while. There are a few things within the project that ask for assistance from as many of the remixers as possible. All of that information will be available by December 1st on the private forums if it isn't already available now, or via PM.

I've been busy the last couple of weeks but it should let up a little soon and give me some breathing room, especially once I teach Brushfire how to edit the OCAD podcasts himself :-P

One week left for your first WIPs, folks. Oinkness got a final WAV in for his song, so his is the first to be finished. I never thought someone would have a final track before the first WIP date, but hey, why fight it? Thanks for his participation!

Once his school year wraps up, Prophet of Mephisto will be taking a more active roll as a co-assistant director. Happy to know your semester of teaching hasn't killed your motivation, man.

Keep up the good work, folks.

You never thought? You hounded me for that final WAV for weeks, hehe. And now I've got a brand new set of bongos and a tamborine, and a drum kit, but the song is already done... made with a leather-coated coffee can and wedding bells scratched together, and maracas. :P

Heh well at least you know the NiGHTS-love is more-than-shared, even if I did beat you to it. The first WIP deadline is coming up, and some mixes may be dropped as that passes (though I really hope not). You may yet still get a chance to get in on this, and just because a project is going for NiGHTS shouldn't deter you from coming up with your own mix for it in the mean-time. Thanks for the support regardless!

I don't think there are any besides our internal forums, which is access-only for the mixers and staff. There's a small thread going on over at the NiGHTSintodreams.com forums, but that's mostly just so I can keep the fans over there up-to-date on project stuff. They've been pretty critical in getting this thing moving.

Don't worry, I'll get you an update soon enough, once the deadline passes.

Today's the day, folks. WIP1's deadline. I've already talked to a few people about extensions on theirs, but if you haven't sent one in yet or talked about an extension, expect a deadly-poisonous PM-monster from Bahamut after today, giving you the friendly-ol' nudge and asking "so....you come here ofte- I mean, how's the WIP coming?"

And to all of you that got me WIPs or informed me you might need a little extra time: a big THANK YOU!

Alright look: you've said stuff like this quite enough. I don't care who you are or how fast you can get it done, but those kind of timelines don't work for everyone. And for some people it does, in fact, take months, and for this project I've designed it especially out of respect for the musicians who have their hands in multiple things and still try to live daily lives with jobs, a social life, and other commitments. I appreciate you doing a song for the project, and am glad you got the wav in after it was done so that there is no chance of your project file getting corrupted and the master being lost, but please make no more comments like this. It's actually a little offensive and starting to get on my nerves.

Sorry if this is snapping, but you've said this too many times for it to be funny anymore.

I didn't realize it was supposed to be funny.

if you have nothing going on in your life, it's easy to finish songs quickly. i did my first track for link's awakening in three weeks, and i did the track for zircon's FF7 compo in thirteen hours (eight minutes of saxophone quintet, written, recorded, mastered, and uploaded). i wrote eighty minutes of game soundtrack - original work - in four months. honestly, who gives a shit? remixing isn't a job. the minute it becomes one, i'm going to stop. i have music from 2005 waiting to be released because of projects. big deal. i want to get noticed, i do other stuff. projects are a longevity thing.

people take time because everyone works creatively at a different pace. you can say that kind of annoying crap about how slow we all are all you want, but you won't understand until you actually run a project and you have no one on it because you pushed too hard to finish. you'll hurt your sphincter if you do that. people need time to sleep, to eat, to relax - sometimes you can just sit down and work for eight hours and it's done, but most people can't do that in one shot. that's just how it is - suck it up and deal with it. i wouldn't be surprised if stevo kicks your track if you keep complaining about being done early, so that you can just release it and enrich us all.

.....not even going to address it anymore, not worth the time.

Anyways, so the first deadline came and went. How'd we do? Great! Nearly everybody got theirs in on-time/early, or was granted an extension due to their personal situations. What we've gotten so far has blown my expectations out of the water, pretty much. Great job, guys.

I have to gather everything together and then will make a post about where things are going from here. :-o

Okay, so there were a few people who needed extensions on their WIPs, which is just fine. I planned these dates conservatively knowing some of this would come up, as it's inevitable. If you know you're usually an hour late for a party, you set your alarm an extra hour early to compensate!

All in all, we're completely on-track if not better at the moment. The material thus-far has been more substantial than I anticipated and far more varied. There's one finished track and quite a few others that are getting quite close. As more songs wrap up, the inclusion of more alternate and bonus versions of songs will be considered. Furthermore, if a good chunk of songs wrap considerably early, the songs from Christmas NiGHTS might be opened for people to grab, but that will only be after WIP2's due date probably if at all. The core of the project needs to be close enough to completion before those additional materials will be brought into the question. The more people get finals in early, the more likely this will happen.

The artwork is already started, and the website will start as soon as certain requirements are known. DiGi Valentine and TRiPPY have been brought in as Associate Producers on the album as they're helping coordinate quite a few things. So we're well on the way here.

Thanks to everyone for their continued support! On to the next WIP deadline, these next few months are going to fly by!

Asking about finished tracks? From my mixers? In MY project thread? I'LL HAVE NONE OF THIS! HUTTAH!

Ahhh...F^(& it, I'll just say it here and then send out some PMs.

There's a melody found in many of the tracks in the NiGHTS Soundtrack. Since I'm no good with theory, I'll just reference the notes and give some examples of where you can find it. I think the progression is in any major chord, and goes 4-5-8, 4-5-1 (sometimes it's 4-5-8, 4-5-2). The first six melody notes in Message from Nightopia, it's present in Dreams Dreams ("In the night, dream delight"), it's in Growing Wings, the tail end of NiGHTS and Reala, and...well, you get the picture.

For all songs not already incorporating it, I would like you all to try to get that NiGHTS melody in there somewhere. If it's already in there, don't worry. If you can't figure out a way to get it in there no matter how hard you try, I'll accept that. We have a few months to go before the next WIP date, but I'm going to start wrapping up my own tracks on this project relatively soon to give more time to other things like the administration side of directing this project. Preventing a double-post right now. We now have two tracks open for claiming, though one might not be open for long:

If you want to jump on The Mantle, now's your chance. This one might be gone in a little while! It has sexy saxophone...so take a listen!

Escariot had to, unfortunately, drop his claim for E-LE-KI Sparkle due to some collaboration compliations. The track is now open for claiming.

We're pushing slowly, and starting to see some of the final art take form. We have a good pace right now, and I expect some tracks to be finished by WIP2's deadline (mostly my own), as well as most of the WIPs to be completely in.

*trudge trudge trudge*

2-24: Update! Cyril the Wolf has made a tentative claim on E-LE-KI Sparkle. He says he's going to do "something weird" with it. I half-love that, and am half-scared by it.

The Mantle is still publicly open but something special is currently being internally arranged as a possibility. GO, NiGHTS, GO!

Speaking of, y'all should be on the lookout as I have been collaborating with him on an original track that will soon be completed. It's pretty boss, no pun intended!

Hey folks! Due to unfortunate circumstances, we now have one definitive track open on the NiGHTS: Into Dreams ReMixing project - NiGHTS: Lucid Dreaming (http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=24557).

The track of D'Force Master (the final boss theme) is open for claiming. Claims are tentative until given a WIP, and WIPs should be given as soon as possible. If you're interested, reply here or send me a private message about it. Check the thread for rough guidelines about songs and the project.

Also, if anyone's interested in doing a spot of art, send me some samples and I'll look them over. We currently have some artists on-staff but are open for some more since, ideally, every track would have a piece of art made for it.

Everyone be working hard on their stuff, yes? Got a bit less than 3 weeks before WIP2 is due, and then full throttle to final WAVs! WIP2 is expecting significant progress, with clear structure and good production values.

If you're one of the few who signed up after WIP1 was due, consider this WIP1.5 deadline. You need to get in something by June 1st if you have yet to get anything in.

I'll be very very very very busy during the next 2-3 weeks so if you need something, send me a message as soon as you can since there will probably be some delay before I get the chance to respond.

Gonna be a bit late for this. Should have something...Wednesday or Thursday.

Ditto; spent too much time improving the sounds, and I'd like to program more notes now. I did get the brush kit, and it's just right.

Alright, so yesterday came and went with a lot less activity that I had anticipated. A number of extensions were handed out, but this is exactly why I designed the protracted milestone schedule the way I did. For those that are up-to-date on their tracks, thank you. For those who have extensions, get at it! If it passed and you did NOT get a specific extension from me, talk to me ASAP. Seriously.

Final stretch this Summer and Fall.

Song posted on project forums. I thought you'd be in IRC stevo, but you never turned up, so I posted awfully late.

Hey....!

How close is this project to done? Almost all of the songs are WIP'd but it's not that specific on how far along the WIPs are.. Are there a lot of very substantial ones? December 1st... It would be nice if this could come out before the end of winter. :-)

I saw you posted it, I will be checking it shortly. Sorry, been quite occupied this week!

Catch me on AIM and we'll talk. Short answer is: you probably passed.

Some are quite far along, some need substantial work, and there are a few are "special cases" due to the people and factors involved. However, there is no way this is coming out before next Summer. By design, the songs are to be finished by December 1st so that the project artists can use the songs as inspiration for the large amount of project art we're trying to get. This is also to compensate for those inevitable project setbacks, however small or big they will be. The release date has been picked for a very special occasion: July 5th, 2011 (read the project info in the OP). That's the 15th anniversary of NiGHTS: Into Dreams game release in Japan, and this is exactly how I want to celebrate that day.

Alright folks, got some new info to throw at you:

1) In an effort to further encourage people to get their final tracks in as soon as possible, every remixer who gets their track in AND approved by me/project staff as final before the Final WIP date (December 1st, 2010) will get a free physical copy of the project when it's released. This doesn't mean you can turn it in at 11:59 PM on November 30th and just have it called final. I would recommend starting to submit "final" tracks around the beginning of November so that me and the rest of the staff have time to review and approve. It also gives time for revision if there are changes that need to be made. I really hope this encourages mixers to meet the deadlines for the final stretch.
2) Any submissions received after the final deadline will be deal with as they come. However, as soon as the final deadline has passed, the staff will focus on QUICKLY reassigning any unfinished tracks so that all the tracks are done by the point of no return (April 2011).
3) There will be a special something from this project being put out on July 5th of this year to commemorate NiGHTS's 14th birthday, and in anticipation for the full release next year.

Keep up the good work, folks!

That sounds very cool Stevo... can I have one? :-( Good luck hitting your deadline! Lucky to have it so far before Christmas, before people have the chance to go off with families for Christmas fun. :-)

So there's a campaign out on the net to gather people's support for porting NiGHTS: Into Dreams onto one or more current consoles for the game's 15th Anniversary. Seeing as this project is going to be released then, I highly encourage anyone and everyone to just go to the site and click the "Fans" button and register your vote.

It would be great if both OCR and Sega gave NiGHTS something for the big 15.

It's great to see that the mystery remixer for D'Force Master is Josh Whelchel! I love the work he did on The Spirit Engine 2, and he definitely knows how to communicate emotion through his music. I'm sure he will do that song justice.

Agreed, Yoder. I've already heard where Josh is going with this and I can tell you for a fact it's going to be an intense song.

Also, something awesome happened. The two producers for this project, DiGi Valentine and TRiPPY, also run the NiGHTSintodreams.com website. They just posted an incredible interview with Yuji Naka talking about NiGHTS. It's a very interesting read and I encourage you to check it out!

Edit: I must have glossed over this, but one VERY IMPORTANT fact surfaced during the interview: apparently, there was a PC port for NiGHTS: Into Dreams back in the day in Japan.

I hope everyone is having a fantastic, relaxing, and productive Summer. Best of luck to everyone, especially the mixers and the artists, as we fly into August and then back into Autumn.

Good to hear, you long haired man, you.

So there was a small video preview at the OCR panel this year for a few projects, including NiGHTS. It was super-duper awesome because there were two people in the audience cosplaying from NiGHTS! Someone from the NiGHTS forums went as NiGHTS and someone else went as Reala. Definitely a very pleasant surprise since I got to meet at least one fellow fan and have NiGHTS out there while the preview was played. The response was extremely positive, so we know people liked it and want more.

YOU HEAR ME, I SAID MORE, so that means I want more too.

August 9th edit: For all you folks who missed the June 1st WIP2 deadline and said you'd have something in by the end of Summer, I fully expect some kind of update by August 30th. Otherwise, I will release the hounds (read: I will release the project co-directors to pester you).

You've got less than 4 months to get your final in at this point, and even less time if you want to get a free physical copy of the project when it comes out.

Dj Mokram got me a WIP a bit ago, and it's very...ethnic. That's a no-go on a hip-hop remix this time around. I still definitely encourage you to find a producer and do the track otherwise, of course! This site needs more hip-hop.

And with that, we're back to having all tracks except for one in at least WIP form. Almost lost a second track this week but, thankfully, they decided to continue on their wonderful arrangement.

If anyone has any doubts about their ability to do their track at this point, please let me know ASAP.

We seem to be having a real bad string of luck these days. Hitori recently told me he may not be able to finish his track, despite a substantial WIP. Therefore it has been moved to bonus. If someone doesn't pick up "After the Dream" in the next week or two, I will pick it up myself.

Edit: and JUST LIKE THAT, someone grabs it. Thanks to OA, who is now doing After the Dream, as well as making us a sexy website!

Double Edit: Oh, and Protodome got a smexy update in! This means I only get to pester him a month from now. Mad-awesome, Mr. Dome.

Starting to send out PM reminders to people. Final WAVs are due BY December 1st, which means you need to get them in and approved by me BEFORE that day. Remember: I'm going to be coming down hard on this final deadline. While the project release may not be until next July, the next essential steps for the project require all the music to be final. Those after-steps will also take a few months, so no slack time can be afforded.

Wow. And I mean...WOW! I got updates from a LOT of people, including Josh Whelchel, who is apparently crafting one of the most epic-themed remixes I've ever heard. The end of disc 2 is going to be an absolute crescendo of intensity.
