This is something that I've thought about doing for a few months now...

This is my first attempt:

And my first revision:

And my second revision, which I believe will be the final version:

It's McVaffe's "Cammy's London Drizzle" mashed with Peter Gabriel's "Games Without Frontiers." This is my first (and, so far, only) mashup. Please let me know what you think.

P.S. McVaffe, if you object to this, don't hesitate to let me know. I'll take it down.

This mash-up is interesting, since it's the first one where I don't recognize the video game in it, but I do recognize the PG in it. Nice job with it, though - it meshed well, and I, for one, liked it.
Question - how did you get the dry vocal track from Peter Gabriel? When I hear the song he has a lot of different effects and such applied to them.
Nice use of two different Peter Gabriel versions, there - my younger brother recognized both the studio version and the 2003-2004 live album version in there.

Well, PG released all the basic tracks of the song on his Real World Remixed (http://www.realworldremixed.com) site, so almost all of the original vocals were clean. You can sign up on the site and download the basic tracks to make your own mix. He also has "Shock the Monkey" available. :)

I posted a new link to the mashup because I didn't realize the other server would delete the file over time.
Pretty impressive for a first mashup. The two songs fit together pretty well. There are a few points where I think they could be synced a little tighter (1:15 and 1:23 sound kinda off to me, in particular), but that's a pretty minor issue. Nice work overall; I look forward to hearing more from you in the future.

Thanks for the feedback. I managed to get some time off from work and revised it a bit...

Got a day off and I worked on it some more...

Is it any better or worse?
Yeah, that's better; the vocals seem much more in sync with the instrumental now. :nicework:

I appreciate the feedback.
Someone at a different forum suggested I extend it a bit at the end. I rather prefer the length I had it at, but I gave it a shot.
