Dammit, Zircon. That money was going to my first cheap whore!

I hope she takes food stamps. Or Penicillin. Oh, hell, I might want to get those anyway...

Edit: Nevermind, I didn't see that they sent it in the email. What did I just download then?

Here's a little demo I'm practicing with with the program. Good to give you a listen what kind of stuff you'll actually probably do with it as opposed to a demo that's been professionally mixed, mastered and arranged and so forth.

How long does it typically take for the serial number to be e-mailed? I ordered within 45 minutes of zircon making the post and still haven't gotten the serial number, though I do have confirmation that it 'shipped'. Maybe because I paid with PayPal, out of my bank account, and it's a Canadian bank?

The serial and download links came within seconds but the shipping confirmation took more than an hour. I also used a debit card with an American bank.

Just read somewhere that it can take up to 4 days! Egads! I did find my download link sitting in my spam folder, though.

Was the sender for the download link and serial 'aM', and were they both in the same e-mail?

If so, I accidentally deleted it from my spam filter. I did call the store an hour after doing that (somewhere around 4 hours ago, now), and they said they hadn't sent it yet. I'll probably have to call them again tomorrow.

Sigh.

Ah well, it's only $15. That doesn't cover the charge for consistent speediness :)

seeing how zircon posted this today, and remembering back to the nitro sale, it is really wise to wait a couple of days/a week before purchasing as it took me a while to get the serial number and stuff for that program.

also they don't like paypal outside the US >=( .

If you didn't get the download link, email them. I didn't get mine either until I contacted support, at which point I got it in like 10 minutes.

Probably because it's $75. Sounds good, though, at least form the samples.

You have to email them anyway to get your "response code" so it's properly registered.

I cannot for the life of me find an email address to contact them at anyway. And it's too late to call. Gah.

Zephyr

I couldn't either, I managed to navigate myself to a send a message page in there somehow, I haven't gotten any responses at all from any of my attempts. It's rather frustrating.

zircon

Just reply to the sales email... worked for me. Also you don't need to email for the response. Once you download the program and run it, it generates the challenge code. It will link you to the page where you get the response code. No other communication needed.

Got everything worked out; e-mailing sales was the trick. I also decided to pick up Lounge Lizard; I was blown away by how good it was given the memory footprint. It'll be a nice supplement to the EPs on my Nord Stage, if it doesn't outright replace it.

So what was that file that you download in the receipt page?

My .vundo virus started acting up again after I downloaded it.

Meteo Xavier

I got mine rather quickly and it works pretty well (even though 13 channels seems to take up a lot of RAM for a synthesizer module and virtually no CPU. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?)

I just want to know what that AAS file from the receipt page is supposed to be.

I'm going to guess that the file is just a placeholder in the event that they'd like to deliver the content immediately as opposed to in a follow-up e-mail. If that's the case, then the file is worthless.

FAIL, I punched in the wrong e-mail address upon ordering it. I've sent them an 2 e-mails and a message on their website with no response, I even checked and the email that I entered was un-registered so I registered it and there's no mail over there either. :(

Has anyone ordered from audiomidi.com before this, and did it seem correlated with the amount of time it took to get your code/confirmation? I ask, because my code was sent immediately, and I had made an (expensive) purchase from the site earlier this year.

big giant circles
10-20-2009, 02:41 AM
Nah, I don't think that has anything to do with it at all. When they're digitally selling a $200(+) product for $15, they're probably selling hundreds if not thousands of them. There's still a degree of manual confirmation there. The computer handles the transaction, but everything still gets reviewed by a human being, so there's bound to be a couple hiccups in the process here and there.

I got mine, but I'm still working out my Lounge Lizard order with them. I placed it Thursday night, and have sent a number of e-mails trying to work out an issue they had. I ordered the download-only version (why wouldn't I? It's about a 5 MB download), and they're complaining that I either didn't give them a shipping address with PayPal or that it was an unverified address so they won't ship a product. They've been really slow about replying to e-mails on this; I'm going to call them if I haven't heard anything by noon today.

I was happily able to get mine registered and active within 5 minutes of placing my order. I bought it blind based off the recommendations here, and so far in playing it around with it for 15 minutes, it hasn't disappointed.
