Yo djp,
Here's a piano waltz remix to follow up the kirby waltz. It's the Overworld theme from Super Mario World.
ReMixer name: Bladiator
Real name: Karl Harmdierks
E-mail: bladiator@juno.com
Game remixed: Super Mario World
Song remixed: Overworld theme
Extra info about the remix: I'm a crazy piano bastard, and this is what I do to feed the rabid piano remix fan base of the internet world. :)

Pff. The arrangement is icy hot. Played it on VGF38 (http://oc.ormgas.com/forum_viewtopic.php?18.8313), and, yea, it was good. I better not let my girlfriend hear this one, or she'll leave me for Karl with a K. Dunno why we even got this though, I'll be perfectly frank. On the brief side, but full of excellent rearrangement ideas and a truly spirited performance. Get this out of my sight and onto the front page. B-Unit!

Too much on the short side for my liking, but we have the usual dynamics, voicings, and phrasing that makes for a good piano arrangement, and it's developed, if not expanded, in its time frame besides. Very close to clipping on the left side when the chops get rowdy.

bladiator has done for the smw overworld theme what he did for the kirby theme:
a simple, yet elegant piano arrangement that is easily enjoyed.
short, but sweet.
