How could I have been so unobservant?! I never knew the recruitment and collaboration board even existed! I was convinced it would be a matter of time before someone took on DKC3, and when I finally noticed this board AND this topic, I rejoiced. Already a few WIPs, and it's only a matter of hours since Serious Monkey Business was released. I liked the first two, so I'm anticipating this one. The goal of the Donkey Kong Country Trilogy is in sight!

DKC3 GBA is my favorite game soundtrack ever so I am REALLY excited to see this. DKC3 is in my top 5 (the others being Mother 3, Banjo-Tooie and EarthBound).
I support this project significantly. Good luck :)

I agree, the GBA soundtrack is so underrated, but it's definitely one of my favorite soundtracks ever. You've got good taste ;-)

 Holy... DKC3 already!? And all tracks are nearly claimed!?
And one of my favorite tracks is up for grabs!?
Goddammit, if I actually got off my ass and tried to do something I would of claimed Big Boss Blues for myself... :banghead:
... But seeing as I don't know squat about mixing, I'll just cheer you guys on from the sideline! Break a leg/arm/part of your body everyone!

I noticed there was no subtitle to this album, for some fun I thought I'd throw out some nifty ideas;
DKC3 - Gone Banana's
DKC3 - Monkeying Around
DKC3 - Barrel of Primates
Well just thought I'd get the ball rolling on possible album subtitles to really add character to the project.
I may be up for doing the art for the project, but I'd say I'll wait till the projects at least half way done. I'm personally going to be heading up something that is going to be very time consuming in the next few months so we will have to see.
EDIT:
Actually I'll take up the project as long as I'm not expected to to have a completed product for at least a year. I actually just had a brilliant brain storm in terms of cover and art for this project. If you want to hear it PM me or message it, just trust me when I say it would fit and do Donkey Kong Country justice.

But even I'll admit that going public on the same night as Serious Monkey Business is a pretty cheap way to cash in :-P But it's obviously not going to steal any of the limelight away from SMB; it only stands to increase the general level of DKC-related hype around the site. And since Taucer, Bahamut, or any of the other staff gave me the go-ahead, I figured I'd just go for it.

Glad to find that there's so many people who like the GBA soundtrack, or are at least familiar with it. And for those of you who are checking it out because of this project, that makes me feel awesome that I've been able to publicize Dave Wise's awesome work a bit more. Everyone's familiar with what he and Eveline did on the SNES half, but a big motivation here is to raise awareness about an awesome soundtrack that not a ton of people know about. So cool! :-D

Hey Emu you may want to put in the title that only the crappy tracks aren't taken :<
Most of them are below par, yeah, but there's a handful (I count 3 or 4) that are still really good source tunes. Plus, you can always dual-claim with someone else, so you're free to do whatever the hell else you want :-P I just *prefer* for totally unclaimed tracks to get done so we get as much variety on the album as possible.
Status update: Brandon Strader just switched over to "Hangin' With Funky" which means that Stilt Village (SNES) is now unclaimed. It's a fun track that could easily translate into something happy and folksy, so check it out if you're up for something like that :-)

Words can not express how happy I am to know this is in the works.
Unlike most gamers back in the day, I was actually introduced to the DKC series in reverse. Played DKC3 first at a friends house, who later gave the game and his SNES to me when he got an N64. My cousin eventually got the second game and we played that when I visited, and the I got my playtime with the first DKC through a friend I gained years later.
Because of this, DKC3 is my absolute favorite of the series with my favorite soundtrack. However, most people seem to push it to the back of the list when compared to the first two games, which is why DKC3 gets the short end of the stick when it comes to remixes.
This album will remedy that, I'm sure. :D
I do have to be honest though, I raged when I bought the GBA version and learned it had different music. But back then, I probably didn't give a dang if it was good music or not. all I knew is that it was different, and I didn't like it. But I've been giving it a listen thanks to this album, and I'm finding I remember a surprising number of them, even though I didn't like them before. Clearly a case of nostalgia-earphones, because these are awesome. Almost like what the game would have sounded like if they had stuck with the same music direction for the third game as the first and second.
I can hardly wait, but I got Serious Monkey Business to tide me until then. ;)
Also, we need to think of a name for the album. I'd suggest not using a name like "kongs in _______" because it would be too much like Kong in Concert.
I was thinking of something along the lines of "Apes Gone Alpine," "Primate Elevation," "Kongs of Kanadia," or "Krool Heights."

Another Damn Monkey Album™
DKC3: Double Trouble (two games being remixed and pays homage to the original title)
DKC3: Third Banana
'Northern kReMixsphere' (portmanteau of ReMix and Northern Kremisphere, the area explored in DKC3)
or 'Northern ReMixsphere'
The last two could also be seen to reference the 'scope' of the project (which boasts a large number of tracks); a 'sphere' or collection of ReMixes

I think this one's standing out to me most of all the suggestions. Not sure if it's something I'll really consider going with in the long-run, but good suggestion :-) I want something that either references the fact that it's ending out a trilogy, or that both game soundtracks are being remixed in one album.
Thanks for all the suggestions and words of encouragement, I'm glad there's people interested in both halves of the project!
McKnackusThe1st
03-20-2010, 04:46 AM
"Double Trouble" is clever, but it's also extremely generic. It'd also make the album's name nearly identical to the game's, removing only "Dixie Kong's" from the title.
How about "Two Kinds of Kong."
Also, will we try and have a vote on this eventually after enough nominations or will it be solely based on Emu's opinion?
Emunator
03-20-2010, 04:48 AM
Ultimately the name will be chosen at my discretion, but I value public opinion a lot so if a certain suggestion gains a lot of support, it may very well influence my final decision.

Decided to give the GBA version a good listen to when I realized the list of songs up for grabs for the GBA version is incomplete. Stilt Village and Waterfall are missing from the list.
Stilt Village in particular would be a huge miss, since I consider it to be one of the better ones in the GBA version.
Also the credits, but that was just a medley of the other songs so not sure if that counts.

You're talking about Cascade Capers (Waterfall) and Lakeside Limbo (Stilt Village). Some of the songs on the GBA soundtrack had different names from the SNES. So, with that said, I can assure you that Emunator didn't leave those great themes out. :)!! Good catch, though.

You are a saint, thank you :-D I appreciate the effort, I know the source material is somewhat out of your comfort zone but I've got no doubt that you'll be able to pull off something great.
And yes, good catch McKnackus. I had them listed on the tracklist, but I botched the names. Everything is fixed now :-D
Woah, and just like that, I've got a real solid WIP in from 8-Bit Instrumental in a Hawaiian island jazz style. Very impressive!
On another note, Jade dropped her claim on Enchanted Riverbank due to time commitment issues, so that one's up for grabs too. Sad to see her go, but hopefully someone talented will be able to step up and fill in the gap :-)
I should have a ton of time on Thursday to work on my song, so you should have another WIP somewhere around the end of the week :D

Looking forward to when this comes out :-)

Yeah, I was just gonna say the same thing. Although the Sonic series can't be neatly wrapped up into a trilogy like DKC can, so I guess if you spin the question right, DKC could be the first complete series of games to get their own remix albums :-P
Also, major props to halc for being a total badass and springing a Water World WIP on me from out of nowhere :-P Great Job!

Well Sonic 2 / 3 / & Knuckles is a bit of a trilogy. Adding Sonic 1 will make it a quadrulogy and Sonic 4 will make it... what... I don't know the word for fivelogy. :D
So far as far as I can tell, Sonic 4 music is pretty suck. Oh well. Shouldn't try to copy an old style using old sounds but none of the soul. :-P a soul which is currently burning in hell!
Anyway, DKC3 will be great.

So, this'll be done within a couple months, right?
Heh, I wish. I learned about Serious Monkey Business in October of 2008, and had to wait a year and a half. It was worth the wait though, and I'm sure DKC3 will be great too! It has a really underappreciated soundtrack in my opinion.

Because Sega wanted money fast and rushed the development, so they chopped Sonic 3 in half and released it in two parts.

I think the fact that they 'were going to be' one game is irrelevant, because they aren't. They are 'they'. I find it hard to believe they could have made 1 game out of those 2 though. They're both very heavily pumped with content, I mean, for that time period anyway.

Just in the interest of giving a status update to those curious:
Brandon Strader is 100% finished with his Dixie Beat remix, becoming the 2nd person to get me a completely finished song! *applause* :-D
Blue Magic's been doing some serious work on Waterfall (GBA) and has also taken on another track - Big Boss Blues.
Halc, too, has been putting some solid effort into both of his songs.
8-Bit Instrumental is the 4th artist to join the "silver club," and is finishing up with a Crazy Calypso song that I think everyone will love :-)
AMT, Vampire Hunter Dan, Harjawaladar and Theophany are all working hard on their songs (as far as I'm aware, anyway!)
Mazedude will have a final WAV in any day now, his track is probably the best one I've heard so far!
That's about it - thanks to everyone who's taken initiative to get things done in the last 3 days. I've been beside myself with excitement about how much progress many of you have made lately. Thanks all! :-D To the rest of you, get on it, you've got less than a month before the deadline!

Wait, what? The GBA soundtrack is not only different but also by Dave Wise? Wtf. :o
YouTube won't load for me right now so I can't check it out. God damn.
Edit: Okay, this is kind of bizarre. DKC3 had fairly superb music, whatever compelled them to completely change it like this? Some of it is pretty sweet, but none of the several I've sampled hit the mood like the originals. Some of the DKC3 music was incredibly haunting, especially Treetop Tumble. Bit weird to hear that replaced with an upbeat Jungle Book-esque groove.
Still, cool the music exists for remixing. The more music in the album the better. :D

Man, I just played through DKC3 for the first time in a long time and the music is really disappointing in places. The final battle is crappy enough without the music being a short, dull loop the whole time and the music over the credits is lame lame LAME as well. The whole game in general frustrates me, what with all the just plain hideous enemies with their big chins and the terrible bosses-- not to mention Kiddy Kong: the beginning of the end of good Kongs. Oy. Unfortunately, most of the levels are really good so I can't just flat-out hate the game.
Anyway, I just needed to vent. I'm glad the album's being made though, because a good number of the original songs just need MORE.

Similar to you, I have a really strong desire to claim a track (Frosty Frolics GBA) but the only remixing program I use is Mixcraft, which admittedly isn't good for making quality OC ReMixes.
I still can't wait 'til both albums are released, despite how long it's going to take (I'm betting 2 years minimum) :P
<This reply based off of green quote text above>
WHAT? ARE YOU CRAZY?
Sorry.
MixCraft 5 is pretty reliable, once you get around to the quantizing. Which makes it a little easier.
(Hint... if you EVAR need to add any human-ish "swing" sound to make it sound more natural, use the "swing amount" option on the quantizer. it helps out a bit.)

Alright guys, deadline's over. Thanks to those of you who got something in, and to the rest of you, I hope you won't be far behind.
I've gone and reverted everything on the tracklist so that everyone with a deadline extension is now back at red, and everyone who didn't turn in a WIP is in pink. If you're a pinky, your song is technically open until you get me a WIP to lock your claim back in, so if you're still interested please do that quickly!
I want to make a note about the number of deadline extensions I gave, since there are a lot of them. Every artist that I granted one to gave me ample assurance that they would finish their song eventually and not drop out - most of these artists usually work in spurts and can get a finished product out in a matter of weeks. In these cases, I've let them work on their own timetable, but they're going to have to work faster and harder later on to catch up. This policy of extensions isn't going to slow us down :-)
So, your next deadline is August 1st which gives you the whole summer to meet it. I'm hoping/expecting to have about half of the songs finished by then, but the benchmark to shoot for is a BLUE WIP that's 50% or more finished. Or, if you've claimed multiple tracks, aim to have at least 50% of your total songload finished by then. That shouldn't be too unreasonable, but as always, if you have extenuating circumstances all you need to do is talk it over with me :-)
The teaser will be released here shortly too, so you've all got that to look forward to!
Thanks to all who did their part to make this deadline work, let's keep the ball rolling and get some good progress accomplished in the next 3 months!

1.) AeroZ - Mill Fever (SNES)
2.) 8-Bit Instrumental - Crazy Calypso
3.) Mazedude - Mill Fever (GBA)
4.) halc - Water World (GBA)
5.) Diggi Dis - Chase (GBA)

@The Vagrance: Heh, maybe I do, but I've been saying this about Blue Magic's song since it started. He's a great mixer and he really brought his A-game with this mix.
That said, I'm not surprised that so many of you have picked out Mazedude's track as the cream of the crop - not to slight my other remixers, but Mazedude's track is amazing. I'm going on the record now and saying that it's probably some of the most well-arranged, expansive, and in-depth work he's ever done.
@Invader_Quirk: Tell me about it. The two Rockface Rumbles are my favorite songs from each respective soundtrack, and I recruited Zyko specifically for that track. He's busting out some musical skills he's never shown before so it should be amazing :-D
As a side note, GSlicer has taken on a 3rd track and threw me an almost-finished WIP for Pokey Pipes (GBA) out of nowhere. I didn't think anyone would be able to do a remix for that song but he proved me wrong :-P

It's been claimed twice and dropped twice. I even got a WIP from each artist, but they dropped for their own reasons. I've never had a song go past claim #3 without finding someone who can stick, so hopefully that will hold true here, as well :-)
Fun fact: Jungle Jitters, Nuts and Bolts and Baddies on Parade were also all claimed twice and dropped twice, but from the looks of it the artists that now have them are going to actually have the inspiration to finish!

I'm with you Emu. Rockface Rumble is my absolute favorite of the SNES tracks. Heck, I've even thought up custom on-the-fly remixes of them. Unfortunately, I don't know bean seeds about remixing or music in general so I'm unable to make them realities, much less meet OCR standards of remixes. I might be able to bearly manage VGMusic or VGMix standards if I dabble with midi software but nothing like you guys are capable of. :p

Don't worry man :-) We've got 3 of the most legendary mixers that have ever hit this site working on individual Rockface mixes - Zyko, McVaffe, and Sixto - so you better believe that your needs will be met! :-D
Hooooly crap. Got my second WAV from halc this week, and he brought a friend along for collaborating with on Water World! The Vagrance might hurt me for this, but this is DEFINITELY an album highlight here. Yay for finished song #10 - 5 from each soundtrack so far! Keep it up!

Things have been kinda slow lately, but we should have some WAVs on tap soon :-) Harjawaldar, Theophany, GSlicer (x2) and Radiowar are all sitting at silver status.
The rest of you though, it'd be nice to hear something from you, especially those of you still at red status. Let's keep a steady flow going on here! And for those of you who have been shooting me updates or at least working on your songs, thank you very much! It's appreciated!
I was right! :-D Radiowar's song is finished and it's damn good. He's put a lot of effort into it and it's come a long way since the first WIP I received, I think you'll all be happy with what came out of his efforts!

So, status update: it's been almost a month since my last post and I've only gotten 4 updated WIPs... and 3 of them have been from Theophany (with 2 of them being just a hair's length away from WAV status.) So, thanks to him for his dedicated work on the project - the rest of you, I'd really like to start seeing some updates soon! The deadline is still far off but some of you haven't even turned in enough to meet the last deadline, so if you've been working but haven't turned in a WIP yet, get me something or at least let me know that you've got progress.

Actually, I've been getting a fair amount of updates lately. I've gotten songs from:
- Theophany
- halc & Another Soundscape
- The Vagrance
- OA
- ilp0
- Josh Whelchel
You guys are cool <3 Much love.
As for the rest of the project, I wanted to let you all know that The Maverickk has something INSANELY awesome and unique lined up for that. Some of you know what it is, but soon he should be making a post on the private forums soon enough to put it all into detail.
And thanks for those of you still expressing your interest in the project, I thrive off of that stuff and I think the project as a whole does better when everyone's excited to hear the outcome. So, here's the deal - when I get 20 WAVs in total, I'll throw out an extended preview twice as long as the last one! :-D So, bug whoever you need to to make this happen - if all the people who are currently sitting at Silver status turned their songs in, we'd only need 1 more WAV to reach that goal. In addition, if the time is right, I might reveal another secret I've been keeping up my sleeve about the project, but no promises there. We'll just have to wait and see on that one ;-)

I don't discriminate based on who's remixing - it's all about the quality of the mix itself. If you're a beginning remixer, it's unlikely that you'll be able to make something up to the quality bar (just listen to the songs that get posted everyday on OCRemix to get an idea for what I'm going for) but it's worth a shot :-)

It's not really a secret. Emunator tells everyone and their mother what it is in hopes that someone will drop the ball and tell everyone. So I'll just come out and say that Dave Wise is interested in the project to some degree. The really cool part(s) about that, though, I'm gonna keep under wrap for now since it hasn't all been set in stone yet, but you'll all probably hear about it as soon as it's ready to be revealed. Alright. Here's the deal.
Most of the people working with this soundtrack has already recieved the Chiptune software for this. RegicideX, this is important. This website (http://ocremix.org/chip/6323) has the .rsn, and anything else you might need, such as Winamp and/or Chipamp, as well as the .rsn itself.
and if you need to hear the bass for the track, use the Winamp equilizer to help you out with the bass. then go from there.
good luck to anyone who needed this info.

Well, Doble Problema sounds way to latino for this album, unless the whole thing was a latin-style album. :-P
Considering the fact that Doble Problema is the spanish translation of "double trouble"...
Ha! It would work if
1) we were doing a latin album ( like i said three lines ago),
2) if The MaverickK gave Dixie a sombrero on the album cover...:-P
(oh god, Strader, you're an idiot...)
What the hell?
I think someone decided to moderate my posts that I DELETED FROM THE FORUM.
I'm looking at you, Emunator...
I can edit my own posts, thank you...:-x
Then do it right the first time. I just had to merge two of your posts again.
This thread is for project discussion. If you are not a project artist or are not contributing in any meaningful way, please refrain from repeatedly posting in this thread.
Furthermore, if anyone is working on a non-project DKC3 remix, this is not the place to discuss it. This is an album project thread, not-a-let's-talk-about-my-DKC3-remixes thread.

Am I missing something here?
Is there some tag in my signature that I cant see, that says
"yell at me, bderide me, insult me, act like I'm dumb"?
because if there is, please tell me. I would like to know.
Also, if I delete a post of mine, I would like it to stay deleted, not to reappear in another post of mine. I know that you may have different feelings about this, but if someone chides me about something, and then I get rid of that said item, please don't insult me by bringing it back to the forum.
Sorry. had to get that out of the way.

Who's insulting you?
I'm telling you what this thread is for and how it should be used. You were asked nicely by the project lead to not double post and you did so again anyway. If you want to contribute to this project, that's fine, but don't use its thread as your own Twitter account. Don't post consecutively; edit your posts if you have something to say or wait for someone else to reply before posting again.
Also, the word you're looking for is "deride," not "beride." "Beride" is not a word.

you already have my reply to that somewhere in that quote of mine you've posted.
Also, in case you're wondering,
the person whose bright idea it was to pull my posts out of the trash can and back onto the forum. That's who's insulting me.
Personally, if I delete it once, I want for it to stay deleted. get it?
I would show you the post someone opened and edited (and it wasn't me), but I've already fixed it... again.
Jeez people, just leave me alone. if you want to disparage me about it, please do so quietly on me profile page, not here. Please.
You would've thought I killed somebody here or something...
Oh, and the word I was looking for was belittle. I got distracted and combined belittle and deride. get over it.

Hmm...
Troubled Doubles?
I was just thinking that the Double Trouble part works two ways; it references the original game's sub-title, and it also references the fact that you're covering both soundtracks... Huh...

I've made this joke in a couple other project threads in the PAST, but I still think the title "The Project That Went Up A Hill And Came Down A Mountain" is good.
A second statement concerning the project: I'm going to arrange Brother's Bear soon to record in about 5 or so days, after I do a couple other songs.. first God of War then Dynamite Headdy. :-o

Bolero of Banana?
I've got to say that this is the only name that jumps out at me as catchy. Maybe "Not Kidding Around" or something like "Double Dipped Dixie" or "Poofer Twofer" if you're still going scatological on me here.
No, wait, I've got it! "Kong in Conc3rt: Concert Harder".

There's no language barriers at OCR. I dropped a fuck and various other curses on Monkeys Disarm your Kremlings on DKC2. There's no censorship. o_o
Welcome to OCR btw, lol, June-oobie
Wait, I didn't come here to say that. I came here to say I want 2 of my WAVs in that preview.

I came here to say I want 2 of my WAVs in that preview.
Then you'd better have another WAV in veerrry soon! ;-)
Northern Remixsphere, isn't that one of halc's remixes for this project?
The name of halc's source tune 'Northern Kremisphere' is the name of the area DKC3 takes place in. The song plays on the map screen.
'Northern kReMixsphere' (portmanteau of ReMix and Northern Kremisphere, the area explored in DKC3)
or 'Northern ReMixsphere'
(Kremisphere itself being a portmanteau of Kremling and Hemisphere)
Kremisphere => kReMixsphere => ReMixsphere.
Clear?

Brandon's mostly right, actually - halc's mix is actually titled "Northern K-ReMisphere" :-P But yeah, I love that clever little wordplay you did there, OCRE!
And good news for those of you eagerly anticipating the next preview, GSlicer went and took a solid chunk out of the countdown by turning in not one, but TWO final WAVs tonight! If you're a fan of fluid beats and insane electronic production, these should resonate nicely with you. Expect to hear some of GSlicer's work in the preview, it shouldn't be much longer now!
Okay. I was not aware of his remix title, as it isn't listed anywhere I've read (and he probably named it that after reading my original post anyway, am I right?)
In any case, this is going to be a great project and I will continue to anticipate it eagerly.

Quick update time:
First off, I'd like to formally announce that my good friend Cody Wedel who's been going by the username Donkey Kong Slippa here on the forums, is going to be taking on the role of Assistant Director for the project. I was initially planning on handling the project alone, but the more I talked to him and bounced ideas off of him, the more I realized that he's as passionate about the project and DKC3 in general as I am, and that his insight is going to be very valuable as the project goes on. So welcome to him! :-D
Next off, I also wanted to let you all know that we've decided on an official title for the project, but we're gonna hold off on unveiling it until it comes time for the 2nd preview track. In addition, the plan is to simultaneously release some artwork that TheMaverickk has been cooking up that, if the product turns out anywhere near as good as the concept, is going to be AMAZING.
So basically, there's lots of stuff on the horizon - official project name, audio preview, and a visual preview should be coming in the next few weeks if all goes well! We just need to get those last 4 WAVs in for it to happen ;-)
Cheers everybody, thanks for the continued support and enthusiasm!

Sweet, we're one more WAV closer to the next preview! This track comes courtesy of HoboKa, assisted by the great audio fidelity on mastering, which is a short but oh-so-sweet remix of the Boss theme that hits very, very hard! This remix was kind of a headache to coordinate with the list of artists involved constantly fluctuating, but the end result is well worth the wait!
I got the preview art in today from Maverickk, and it is incredible. I really want to get these last 3 WAVs in so I can unleash it on you guys! :-D
Also, project mixer Flexstyle has stepped up to do some mastering work on the album after it's all finished to get a more consistent sound out of the project. Mastering upwards of 50-60 tracks is no picnic, but I'm really glad he's stepped up to do that, I think it should make the final product sound all the better!

We can opt-out of the post-master, right? I don't want someone mastering my master. :-o
Also... feel free to turn my other 2 claims pink.. Because that's my favorite color, and because I'm a slacker. :-)

I guess you can, but all that's really being done is some VERY basic mastering and volume equalization so that all the tracks flow together without wild jumps in volume like I'm currently experiencing whenever I listen. I'd really advise you against opting out, but if you're absolutely against the idea of someone else touching your work, I'll grant you the request.
Also, I'd like to formally welcome Dave Wise to the project, who will be remixing Jungle Jitter for the GBA soundtrack and playing saxophone on Monkey Kong's ending medley track. I'm very excited to have him on board, we've got something very cool lined up for the remix he's doing that will reveal itself in due time ;-)

Brandon: I'm going to post a formal thread about this a bit later when I have time, but basically if you'd rather master your own projects, would you at least be willing to give me an unmastered (no master compression, etc) version of your track and see how the two stack up?

My mastering is usually really specific, I start doing it before I even begin recording and then keep tweaking it to fit the song as I go along. o_o I'll boost as much as possible while limiting the final output to -.1db. Any boosting on that would probably cause clipping, and any reduction on the volume would make me look like a n00b like BONKERS who limits to -1.3db or some ridiculous number like that. Yes, I am making fun of BONKERS, and he probably will never find out. :-)
In order to give you an unmastered WAV that you could master, I would have to turn off all the inserts on the master bus and turn down a lot of the volumes, which would completely throw off the mixing. :-(

Hey Flex - I'm pretty pleased to see someone stepping up to do this. I don't mind sending you a copy of mine unmastered, but I tweak my mixes (depending on the mix, of course) with a chain that ends in a limiter with dithering. Compression comes before that, and I've got a harmonic exciter and sometimes stereo imaging on the way, so I think that I'd also prefer just having volume tweaks done on that. Mastering is a complicated task, as I'm sure you know, so it's pretty impressive you're willing to do it for 50-60 tracks!
