View Full Version : I've ran head-on into a problem.

I use FL8, and I've finally learned how to use the Peak Controller to sidechain. And it sounded great - the first time. Now, I have NO IDEA what I did, but whenever I try it now, instead of ducking whatever, like a string, it gets louder instead. I've dubbed this "reverse sidechaining".
....So what do I do to fix it? It's pretty annoying.

It's one of two things:
1. Your link isn't inverted. Go back to the "Link to controller..." menu and make sure the type is inverted (drop down menu, bottom of GUI)
2. The volume (base I think) on your actual peak controller should be at about 50 or higher. Any lower and it will raise your levels or just won't drop them all the way if you do have your link inverted.
Hope that helps.
