How to link MIDI to Autotune 5 VST Plugin using Fruityloops 9

I have created a song in Fruity Loops Studio XXL 9 and I am trying to autotune the chorus using the "Target via MIDI". I used to know how to do this using version 8 of Fruity Loops, but now in the Autotune settings, it says input and output port. How do i link my midi out to autotune to the chorus .wav file?

Okay so I'm going to assume that the autotune you're using is an VST effect. You should see an LCD on the wrapper bar of the VST plugin window (a bar with a -- LCD on either the top right or bottom right) change that LCD to a number.

Now add a new Midi Out generator channel and set the Port number to the same as the other number, try playing in the midi out and see if it runs through to the auto-tune. Good luck!
