If this mix is anything, it’s a very memorable happy tune. I am noticing a pattern that the mixes with lyrics are usually the most memorable to me, although not usually my favourites. Joe Redifer has very comical excellent lyrics here, with the perfect instrumental to match. Great work here, Mr. Redifer.

I first heard this a day or two ago... when I was really tired... scared the sh*t out of me. After catching up on sleep, I had to listen to it again to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. I'm glad(and afraid) to say I wasn't.

The computer vocals are awesome. They make the piece, and he deserves some kind of medal for pulling it off. The music behind the voice is good too, but it is only with the vocals on top that the Final Fantasy acid trip that is this remix takes off. I'm torn between the impulse to stand up and cheer, and the impulse to run down the street screaming.

What is a "vocoder"? I don't know what that is, so I didn't use it to create the mix. Yeah original made up lyrics aren't as good as lyrics that have already been made up for ya (which is what it sounds like you are saying in your post). People are weird. To hell with originality!

This remix is really funny, pretty good, too, I might add. I saw the newgrounds video on saturday, I was laughing my ass off. I love the part where it shows all the different characters looking at Quistis. Made me laugh. And when Aeris beat the crap out of Sephiroth, that was nice.

Now I'm not a huge fan of the final fantasy series myself (seeing as I only have FF3/6 and FF1) but I must say, this mix is quite funny. I decided to go to my dad's workplace last friday, and when I was there, I d/led all of the FF and CT music off of ocremix. (I have 56k.) When I got home, I went through the songs... too bad I listened to this one for five seconds and then skipped it.

I have friends who are now absolutely obsessed with this song. Hahaha... now HERE'S a classic remix on OC. What's probably one of the more recognized songs out there because of that crazy little flash animation on Newgrounds.

Much like several others have stated, I saw the flash animation before listening to the actual song... the flash was okay, but the song itself is hilarious!

I especially like how the background music playing with the lyrics is still good. It's all peppy and goofy sounding that you could skip to... perfect for a ROBOVoice song!

My favourite spot of this goofy little remix is the lines... "With music by Nobou, and graphics by Wong-Chuuuuuuu!" ...for some reason that makes me laugh every single time. XD

This is definitely one of the more unique remixes on the site and this sort of thing is highly encouraged by any of those capable of it.

To clarify, that is definitely NOT what the vocals are saying. There used to be a link to the lyrics somewhere, but I'm not sure if I included the background vocals in the lyric sheet or not. But it is whispering "Final Fantasy yeah Final Fantasy" etc. I like your lyrics better, though. Maybe I'll change it!

TRIVIA: I had to write the lyrics to say "FAN TUSSY" in order to get the pronunciation correct within the Vocalwriter program, so that may cause some confusion with people who have never heard of Final Fantasy before and failed to notice the title/filename. :)

Consider that my fault. Since the remix is more closely based on Boco's theme from FF5, I put my foot down to get it moved there.

Besides, Final Fantasy 5 doesn't have enough remix love. Where you're lost under the tidal wave of Final Fantasy 7 remixage, you're free to swim around in the shallow pools of Final Fantasy 5.

This is serious music made to not be taken seriously. Simple yet broad satire on the gaming and mixing community. I love how it has something that any gamer can instantly relate to, even without having been a FF addict. A real classic that I'm sure I couldn't forget, even if I tried. The Chocobo melody is now completely synonymous with this song and its lyrics. I even know that it has become an anthem of sorts among the FF community.
Novelty mixes that don't get old are rare, so it's no surprise this one is remix royalty.

When I first heard this song, I was all like "YOU GO, JOE!! YOU STICK IT TO THOSE FF FANBOYS!! YEAHHHH!!" I didn't really get into the FF games until more recently.

Now it's more like, "ok dude, you made your point". Not that the lyrics aren't great or the sentiment is at all wrong! I was just thinking it might be a little more dated now.

But you know, the more that I think about it this kind of fanboyism really hasn't gone away at all. And final fantasy still gets remixed all the damn time! So I'll declare this still relevant because the frustration lives on!

Production-wise, this one is pretty bleh, but the arrangement ideas are great, especially the whisper counter melody, and the lyrics are personally super hilarious, as I have known several people who fit the description of the lyrics completely.

This remix will always be relevant. :D
