Can you do this in FL studio?

Lets say you have a bunch of lets say....snares that sound almost the same. in FL, can you link them up to that they play round robin style (I.E. with every note hit, a random snare sample plays)? I've been doing it another way, but it's very tedious the way I'm doing it.

Hook them all up with a layer, and select the "random" option.

Seems more like the kind of thing you'd rather do in a sampler (eg Kontakt), not in the DAW.

If you're piano rolling the drums using the FPC, turn off "scale volume with velocity", select the "note" where your snares are on the piano roll, and randomize the velocities. There's something in the tools section of the piano roll window that lets you do that, but I can't remember what it's called.
