How do I get a vinyl sounding effect?

I'm pretty new to using midi and everything, but I have Acid Pro 5, and I'm trying to get warm vinyl sound. How would I go about doing this? Sorry if my question is vague, I know I'm a n00b.

There's also a z3ta+ preset that makes a kinda nice vinyl plate texture.
