An OverClocked Christmas v.5 -- Recruitment [Archive]

It's that time of year, time for another round of An OverClocked Christmas!

This year being year five, I was hoping to do something special, but I think we'll save that for next year since I need more time for that sort of thing. But for this year, we're going to stick with the theme from last year which was a wintery, Christmasy kind of album featuring both traditional songs and video game remixes as well as originals.

So here's what you need to do if you want to join in:

First: e-mail me at dyne2057@gmail.com
Second: remix, rearrange or write a track for the album and send it via the email address!
Finally: Wait for the release coming the week of Christmas!

By the way, ALL TRACKS are due by 12/23 (previously 12/20). This will give me time to tag, prep the web site, and get everything uploaded, and for once, I should be able to release on Christmas Eve, long before I leave for my usual annual party. Therefore, 12/23 will be the ABSOLUTE LAST DAY that you can submit your track.

Ah, great to see the OCC back again this year. As usual, I'm in for another round of wintry-themed remixing. :grin:

You are quite welcome. I'm happy to host the previous years albums and then this years albums. Its great to spread some musical love from great musicians. I love these albums for something to listen to on my drive home on christmas eve. I find myself throwing them on even during the middle of summer too. Some seriously great music here!

Yeah, after loosing the albums in a recent HDD crash, and with Will's site down, I was kinda sad not being able to get them back.
I too enjoyed the previous years OCC and am definitely looking forward to this year's edition. :)

Hmm. I'll participate, too. Coincidentally, I'm in the process of making a Christmas special short remix. Draconiator showed this album project to me after hearing a rough WIP. I hope others won't mind how short my contribution will be, though. It was originally going to be just a little special to put on my YouTube channel.

Not just dates, entire tracklists have been swapped between these two albums. vol.3 is vol.2 and vice versa.
Additionally, all links (aside from OCC vol.4) are redirecting to the main site with a 'not found' message.

If you have a track/working on a track/wanting to submit a track, you have until Friday to have it done. I will accept it up until midnight Friday.

IF... however...

You need more time, you can technically send them to me until 12 noon on Saturday. Beyond that, you're pretty much out of luck, as I need to have the album prepped and ready before I leave for the annual party that I go to every Christmas Eve.

Yes, by the way, I'm extending the absolute end of the deadline until December 24 at 12 noon, but really, try to have them done by Friday night, I still need artwork from The Coop, and he needs time to get it done.

P.S.: I uploaded the CSS file, and made sure the formatting was the same across all pages. So they should look much better now.

It's Christmas, I guess the spirit just moves people. :D

By the way, some, if not all, of the issues with the site should be fixed now.

The tracklists for v2 and v3 are indeed fixed, but every song from these two volumes now redirects to a 404.

They should all be correct now, as I have painstakingly gone through each link, and corrected the file name/code as necessary.

Sent in a finished NES + VRC6 chiptune track yesterday... but streifig is interested in recording some guitar parts for it and turning it into another Marshall Art (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhIuE32MA5s) collaboration track. Which would be awesome.
