I'll just plainly put it out:
When I try to load a soundfont that's pretty big in size (in sonar), it says "Not enough soundfont memory"
I have 512 MB RAM, & an Audigy 2 ZS card. What could be wrong? That's not too bad is it?
Thanks!

How big of a soundfont?
Judging from all these Sonar questions I'm guessing you haven't configured the program properly yet.

No I havn't messed with any settings. Do you think you can do me a favor please and talk to me on AIM about the settings?
Would be greatly appreciated. :)

(P.S. - The SoundFont is 191 MB.)

Hi, I'm using Sonar. Sonar itself take lots of Ram, so
it is easy to overload the Ram. I tried myself now to load a soundfont of 71Mb, and just that took 160Mb ram!!
So with your soundfont of 191Mb, I can understand that it overloads the ram. To make this work you have to make
sure your soundfont player is the only VST loaded, and you may also shut down some windows tasks if you need more Ram. I can't promise that you'll ever get to use this sf if you don't edit it a bit.

Hey, what exactly is "VST"? When I play the soundfonts, it's directly thru Sonar itself. I add it as a soundfont (or attempt to), then change the bank.

When I use soundfonts, I use a free VST called SFZ. Grab it on www.rgcaudio.com/sfz.htm
