This is a really stupid question, so excuse me for that, but I just can't seem to find where you can up the bitrate for encoding in Adobe Audition 2.0. It encodes MP3s at 128 kbps, but I need them at 192 kbps at least.
Sorry for asking such a seemingly trivial question, but it just bothers the hell out of me.

Oh gawd, I haven't used Audition in years. I remember something in the dialogue box for exporting that let you change the bitrate (as I always had mine too high and I had to reduce it to fit size limits). Sorry mate. Maybe someone else can help ya.

Just render to .wav and encode with (Razor)LAME. Better quality, free codec.
I also have mp3 encoding in SoundForge, Samplitude and Cubase SX, and I've never used those because LAME does the job :).

Save As > mp3pro (in the dropdown box) > Options (right below the drop down bow) > I think you can guess after that.
