With the release of Streets of Rage Remake (http://www.bombergames.se32.com/sorr_e.htm) drawing close, I thought I'd throw together a music sampler with some of the works I've made for the project:

(my brother will faint out when he lay his eyes on this! he loves SoR!)

sorry for not commenting your work for this project... I'll do it once I take a look at the game itself! ;)

Finnnalllly, i've been waiting for this game to be released just to hear your work on it. Amazing stuff, although i've heard most of them in their early stages.

Does the games music engine run on the mp3s? If not, will you be releasing a mp3 version of the soundtrack?

a new shape with the old feeling of SoR! very good!
I hope you remix the final boss theme of SoR 1! I love that one!

C'mon! move you asses! I want to see this project finished! \o/

Can't wait for the release of the final version of the game. The sampler is awesome, great job, don't think it could have been done any better.

I downloaded the WIP pack Gecko once posted over at .org, and some of it is nice, while some other songs are simply great. Can't wait to hear more.

Prodigy ftw. I had a big smile in my face when I heard that sample in one of Geckos SoR songs for the first time.

T'is like really nice! I can really feel the SoR vibes throughout the whole sample. Can't wait to listen to the tracks in whole!

Its been over a year since the last piece of SOR music from Gecko. Sweet sweet stuff.

Can't wait to hear level 3.

AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds very good!

You did a very good job at modernizing the old tracks! I'm not a big fan of remixes of early synth music and you did exactly what I like! While I do still like the FM sound of the original tunes, you did an excellent job at retaining the original music while using modern equipment to enhance the sound.

Can't wait to hear it all.
