Is there a product similar to the "Nintendo DS wifi usb connector" that allows wireless connections (other than nintendo products) to connect to it? Thanks!

Not sure if this works as I think it should, but from looking at my laptop (since I don't have wireless on my desktop), it appears as if any wireless NIC, assuming you have a connection to share, can act as a bridge to your wired ethernet connection.

That's what I'm referring to.
I've never tried it though.

I dont have wireless on my desktop either...the adapter works as a wireless access point. So far the closest product I have found is the Zyxel G-220. Do you think this would work (for a Wii and a 360 [hooked to an ehternet bridge])? Thanks

There are other USB Access points.
Also, there are hacked drivers for the Nintendo one, so you can use it as a generic access point.
Keep in mind that these portable APs have a much weaker antenna compared to a stationary, traditional AP.

well, at college my pc is upstairs and my game systems are 1 floor below it (almost directly below it), would the antenna be strong enough for that?

They should. I've found most wireless systems can go through floors and walls with ease. The thicker the walls, of course, the more it has to travel through. So unless your college dorm is an old building and they made the walls out of foot-thick lead plates, you shouldn't have a problem.

cool, i'll definitely give this a try using the hacked Nintendo connector. Thanks a lot everyone!
