i have spybot, ad-aware, and spyware blaster on my comp. and they have always run fine and kept my comp. running very well. however, as of today i can no longer access any of them. even when i try to reinstall them or go to their websites it's as if there is a program running that recognizes my attempts to run these programs and shuts them down before i can run them. WIERD!! But, seriously, it's starting to piss me off. any suggestions?

Quite a few spyware/adware variations can do this to keep themselves on your system. Might wanna add a virus scanner to your collection there. Also, try booting up the system in Safe Mode for scanning, because a lot of stuff won't get loaded in Safe Mode.

Outside of that, check your HOSTS file for changes, the only line in there outside of the description should be 127.0.0.1 localhost

The HOSTS file is located in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc and can be opened with Notepad.

my bitch-ass girlfriend installed a keylogger to spy on me while i'm on the computer and it disables my protective wares. but never you worry...it has been dealt with. :nicework:

Dump the bitch. If she doesn't trust you enough that she installs a keylogger, then she'll never trust you at all.

That, or you're just saying she did it... for some reason.

no kidding, i talked to her bout it...she says she doesn't want me to look at porn or ::gasp:: post in the boobies thread. she thinks that i think she's not enough for me.

I told her to get over it cuz I'm a guy and that's what we do...right? So now she says that if i wanna look at porn she has to be with me so we can watch it together.

...girls are stupid.
