Soundtracks to games you've never played

Do you own a soundtrack to a game that you've never played? I've never played FF X-2, but when I heard the theme song.. I had to buy the soundtrack. The rest of the album is pretty good too.

Never played any of the Silent Hills, but I have the OST's to all of them.

Along with Genso Suikoden, Onimusha 2, Sim City 3k, Sim City 4: Rush Hour, and We Love Katamari. Never played any of them either.

Proof (for me anyway) that liking video game music isn't just a matter of nostalgia.

As for me, the only OST I actually own is Virtua Fighter 4. I've also never played the game. (the OST was a gift)

I have shit tons of emulated soundtracks and crud from games I've never played though.

Well, I have soundtracks for games I've never played. I was quite impressed with the OST from The Nations (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/nations/index.html), though I had never even heard of the game.

Does this category include soundtracks like Xenogears Light, Xenogears: Creid, Final Fantasy: Potion, FF: S and N Generations? If so, I have those too.

I bought Chrono Cross used from GameStop and didn't get around to playing it right away. One day I decided I wanted to start it, popped it in, and got to that very first cutscene where the door opens or whatever and it froze. I absolutely can not get past that point and my CD looks FINE so I much just be reallllyyyy unlucky.

I often play games with the music off, and my own CD in the stereo. So I've played SEVERAL games without ever hearing the soundtrack. Though they're often racing games or whatever.

For most of the game soundtracks I have, I've never played the game. Some I've played a game in the series and just downloaded the soundtracks for the whole series, or I've learned of them through OCR/projects/etc, or a recommendation, or whatever.
Never played Xeno, PlayStation FF, Katamari, Wild Arms, etc and I've only played Tekken3 and Tag; but I've downloaded tonnes of soundtracks. Same goes for movies; I don't see many, but I download alot of ost's.
