I remember when emulation in itself was a novelty.

Those were the best days.

I'm glad others acknowledge this.

There are several emulators out today with more or less full compability, Sega CD and 32x support, full sound emulation and 2xsai rendering.

He'd then become DJ Preach.

I suppose the modern equivalent holy grail would be CPS3 emulation, or 100% perfect Saturn emulation. The latter is something I'd really like to see; if playing Panzer Dragoon Saga with bilinear filtered textures and anti-aliasing is ever gonna happen, it's gonna be via emulation.

Why bilinear filtering? It probably wouldn't be that hard to get anisotropic filtering working in an emulator.

Man, playing all Shining Force 3 senarios, in all it's glory... Don't even mention it.

I tried playing them (actually finished the game) via Saturn emulation some months ago and it went pretty decently (tough some of the graphics were god horrible), even tough Saturn is hard to emulate, I think some emulators like SFF are coming rather nicely.

Kega Fusion (http://www.eidolons-inn.net/tiki-index.php?page=Kega) is generally a lot better than Gens. It doesn't have that annoying 16-bit color switch, for one.
