Well what is a ReMix site without a Pac Mac tune? Wait.. don't answer that. Not too much going on here, but it is amazing how much the original tune was worked for this remix. Good job, considering.

Amazingly enough I kind of enjoy this 80's like tune. I was amazed how he could take a nearly 5 second long tune i believe it is, and turn it into a 1:50 long song. It has a lot of spirit and make you want to go down to your nearest arcade and eat some ghosts =D. Considering the restriction involved and so on I think it came out pretty well and I give it an 7.5/10, my favortei Pac-Man mix on this site.

Haha, but it's soooo true...can't have an OC Remix site without some annoying Pac Man theme....
Anyways, can't say this was one of my favorites, but oh well...can't win em all...;)

Very catchy and addictive. Normally repetitiveness is a bad thing, but the notes from the original Pac-Man put a smile on my face every time I hear it in this song. The end was good too as it was similar to the sound when Pac-Man dies. I would say it should be longer, but then again I doubt it could go on any farther considering how only a few measures are from the game. 8.5/10

This music is amused. But I hate the end. How irritating...oh, no! My ears do not support!

Word: 5 secs to 2 mins. That's pretty incredible. It kinda sounds like a commercial. It's a bit cheezy but, necessarily so. What is Pac-man if not cheezy? He is a friggin' cheez for all I know.

Oh dear, this theme really IS short. Good thing that Peterrian knows how to pull some levers to make this enjoyful. Although you can predict that it's simply gonna add a new instrument every new turn, it still sounds remarkably good. Kudos to P. Productions for making an awesome remix of an awesome two-dimensional ball.

it's impressive you stretched such a short sample into a (somewhat) lengthier mix, but im not sure that counterpoint and a brief breakdown were the best way to do it.
Regardless, this mix is ancient, so I can understand the difference between then and now. :)

Music from Animusic! Anyone else think so?

Bothers me that now I can't get out of my head that this sounds exactly like those commercials I've seen for the animusic DVDs. The soundsets (or most of them) have to be the same. It's catchy, and unique, however, and an impressive feet to stretch out the theme for that length of time. Certainly not the best thing out there, but appreciable.

Ok, but WTF at the ending? Seriously.

I'm also surprised that the trademark Pacman song got stretched for almost 2 minutes.

Sample-wise, everything could use an upgrade, and perhaps this could've been streteched even longer, but eh, it's from the site's old days.

Lolwut? :< This is really strange, I don't quite know what to make of it. The machine gun drums are a really weird stylistic choice that doesn't make any sense to me. The instruments definitely have that old-school OCR feel to it. Nevertheless, this was a pretty daring arrangement and for the most part, it worked. The synth soloing in particular was pretty good, especially for such an early remix.

Certainly adds a whole lot of meat to a miniscule scrap of music, sprucing it up tenfold. I like a lot of what was done to it, and I’m overly impressed with how many different ways those same bars could be represented. Samples are unnoteworthy, and that ending is remarkable only for how hilariously appalling it is. But as far as envelope-pushing mixes go, this had to have demonstrated the lengths that videogame music remixing could and would go, transforming an insignificant series of bloops into a pretty snazzy piece of legitimate music. Shows age, but it could be a lot worse. I still enjoy it.

:< Agreed with the other posts. This is a fun tune that does well with an extremely short source.

Cool. I can actually almost imagine as backing music to the game if the game had something other than "wakawakawaka" going on over and over (the only annoying thing about Pac-man it you go at it for as long as I do). Very good expansion on a five second theme. Not a fan of the last ten seconds though. As great as this ReMix is, those last few seconds....essh, a bit harsh.
