The A-Z of OCR Competitions
This thread will list every competition that has existed and currently exists on OCR, along with as much information as possible. Anyone planning on creating a new contest will need to provide me with the information required for this thread.
Conceptual Music Competition (CMC)

Competition URL(s): Hosting Site (http://www.warnerpacific.edu/personal/kkeyn/CMC.htm)

Description: The CMC is designed so that each participant enters an original piece of music based on a set theme. The participants take the theme and interpret it as they will to come up with something that fits. Any style can work, as long as it portrays a sense of what the theme is. Listeners then vote for whichever piece best fits the theme and the winner chooses the theme for the next round. Based on the rules of the former TOMC.
