IMHO Guardian Legend was the best game ever made for NES! Great music, challenging game play, and great story!
There are a couple great remixes already on this site, but I noticed that only one is of the opening title song (also played in part during the first corridor before you get into the labyrinth), this remix is by Russell Cox.
While I'd love to hear this tune in any genre, I think something in '80s metal would fit nicely (thinking "Top Gun" theme)
