hi!
i just want to show you a little thing i recorded in 2004 or something.
i played drums percussion and tenor-saxophone and used a midi-file for the other instruments.
i would enjoy to get some feedback.

drums sound like shit, snare is too loud and the other instruments are too soft. It sounds like your trying to do a metallica drum beat for a kiddie song. I take it you are more of a drum than a sax player. I would suggest using the drums sparingly for an accent and get a hold of an alto or a soprano because that would fit the melody better. the midi isn't bad, but it's not good either. also, end on some sort of cadience for a more complete end. BTW, i never heard the song so i can only help so much

i forgot to say, that the "microphones" i used for to take the drums were only:
a half headphone and one condenser-pc-mic.:-D :-D... directly in the mic-input of the pc.
i even had no mixer!!!!
and i think for this constellation the drums sound good :-D :-D

you are alright: i began drumming to the music of metallica....
