No clue, but I do know it's in the vicinity of 100.
I took a long break from watching it after ep. 96, so I'm actually glad they have fillers right now. I don't have as much catching up to do with the actual plot.

To my surprise, despite me calling others Narutards for liking the show, I actually watched through every shitty Naruto filler episodes.
It's a mix of accomplishment and shame.
And by the way, the new official, canon storyarc they're selling as a new series looks really good. I hope the OP and ED are good too.

Yeah, if you haven't watched the filler, just skip it.

Wiki also covers whats been happening in the manga. I read it all, and let me tell you. Naruto Shipuuden is going to be good :P
Yeah shippuden or hurricane chronicles or whatever they decide to call it is gonna be sweet. Can't wait for the next manga chapter to see what happens with Kakuzu. Part 2 is cool except naruto doesn't do anything cool for like a billion chapters. It's a shame that they aren't airing/animating the Kakashi Gaiden, though i'm sure they'll throw it in somewhere.

Episode 135 was the last episode before the fillers started and the end of rescue arc. The fillers continued until episode 220. Episode 221, which comes out later this week returns to the manga storyline. I stopped watching after the curry arc (around 150-ish), the fillers were a pile of crap, avoid watching them at all costs.

Any website that has the manga for online reading? If this is "illegal" then forget my question.

Just barely legal. I believe like the anime it's legal as long as it hasn't been licensed before the subbing is done. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. For the scanlations try out:

Thanks for the help. Fortunately I found another place on my own that has all of them up to the latest. I finally read Kakashi's story. I hope they do it in the anime but I suppose maybe it would be to "tragic" to show here in the US or something.
