I thought the same thing when I saw the trailer. The only thing it has in common with the games is the fact that there are zombies.

Then again, you got to realize that the RE games have less & less to do with Resident Evil themselves. Not that I'm complaining, RE4 was way better than the older games.

I liked the track in the commercial :).


I wouldn't mind seeing the movie. Why not? I like dumb entertainment plenty. I liked the first one even though it was dumb.

Not really. Only RE4 was the major break from tradition. I'm expecting RE5 to pick up more of the RE series' roots, but it's great anyway.

Jill was only in one RE movie then? I thought she would have a bigger role than that. She was barely present in the second one. I <3 Jill. (She is a member of S.T.A.R.S.) Am I only one waiting for her to say that in RE2? In Marvel vs. Capcom 2 style of course...

Have you been to Las Vegas? That's a (smaller) copy of the statue of Liberty for the New York theme =x.

Anyway.. the only reason I'll watch this is 1: (Red-headed) Ali Larter as Claire.
