View Full Version : Screws for attaching a Northbridge fan

Hi guys, im gonna buy

to attach to my northbridge heatsink, but i dont know what kind of screws are used or where to get them.

all i found was some whackjob who attached it with string :/
no thankyou.

anyways, any help would be much appreciated!

It doesn't come with screws? Most do.

Naw, it doesnt, and I've had trouble finding one that does, plus i already have some northbridge fands that would work fine but i would need the right kind of screw.

Zip tie that shit.

You would be amazed at what one zip tie can do.

Or you could just zip tie an 80mm fan in front of the NB somewhere. It would be quieter and flow more air.

Thats a Yate Loon 80mm at 5 volts. I couldn't hear it if i wanted too.

well thanks for the suggestions, but i think im gonna check my local hardware store for generic metal screws
