So, anyone know of a good site for guitar backing tracks? I'm not talking about like backing tracks for songs like say a metallica, but something that I can solo over.
Or, Snappleman, Sixto or who ever else plays guitar here, would you guys happen to have some you made?
p.s. if possible, i'd like to know what key there in, and what scales would work over them.

I have some satriani backing track. They just end up in groove cycles, so you can solo over them however you like really.

If you're trying to practice anyway, why don't you make your own backing tracks? I just wet myself and kicked myself in the balls for not doing this sooner. God damn, I should have been doing this ages ago. I'd probably be thrice the guitarman I am today.

You could try http://www.guitarbt.com/.
They have a lot of backing tracks from bands.. but they also have Jam tracks as well. I think you have to sign up to download though.
Trust me, it's worth it.

Name a progression and style, and I'll make it for you. ^ Or sign up to where that person said.
