OK so I appear to have many problems today!

I got me a 22" monitor and Starcraft looks TERRIBLE, but I don't know how to set the resolution of the game, as there is no option to do so. Any ideas on how I can make it pretty?

As far as I know, there is only one resolution for the game to play in, (1024x768?). The aspect ratio is 4:3 and the game will stretch by default to fill your entire screen. I don't know what else to tell you. Can you somehow tell your computer to run in a 4:3 aspect before running the game? Check out your video card software. That's my only solution.

Correct.

640x480 should be enough for anybody.

/runs in 1600x1200 :D

advice:
tiberian sun has the same problem, but it was possible to change the resolution manually in one of the config files in the folder. check that. some files can be easily edited with notepad.

no guarantee thought, cause i never played starcraft.

Tiberian Sun has an interface that is adaptable to higher resolutions. Starcraft doesn't.
