Nintendo WFC troubles

ok so here's my problem
the current router I use is good and all but it doesn't work with the WFC (Actiontec)
my old router is awful but is awesome with the WFC (Linksys)
When I plug the old router into the new router (like a switch I guess) no internets goes to the old one so I can't use wifi on it.
I need to make internets go into my old router through my new one so I can play pokeymans with you people

Are you sure you're plugging it into the right one? You can't just plug one router into another using the "regular" ethernet jack. They usually have an uplink one so you can do this as is my understanding of computators. Hopefully the internet can help you with your troubles.

I haven't checked this site yet, but maybe they have some deeper insight to help optimize your connection with your current router.

why not? i used to do that with my old switch, why is this any different
