i wonder one thing...

in the info of submitting remixes, it says "you may not take raw midi and just change the instruments" etc etc...

so i wonder if it's ok to take the melody from a raw midi and loop it and change the sound of it in a rmx and then upload if finished...

Thats pretty much a MIDI rip, and its not allowed. This site is more about re-interpretation of the music. You've got to add to the musical aspects of the tunes and not just copy them.

There a loads of places around the internet that would be less bothered by MIDI rips, but they're not what OCR is about.
