I'm looking at getting a MacBook for uni because the key program they use is Logic Pro 7. I'm planning on getting the white 2.0Ghz model (not a MacBook Pro).

I need to know if that is powerful enough to run a program like Logic Pro WELL, and by that I mean with negligable problems. I don't want to shell out some £1300 just to find out its not really working well enough to use. Garageband supposedly uses the same base engine as Logic, so if anyone who uses garageband could tell me any problems they encounter from daily use that would be nice.
