I was looking for a piano vst plugin ( i think that's what it is.)
I downloaded one by 4f.
I copied the DLL into the plugin folder and I can't get it to show up in FL studio.
I have FL studio XXL 6.

What I do is set a VST-DX folder outside of the FL Studio directory - I recommend anyone else does this as well.
e.g.:
c:\vst-dx\ and
c:\samples\
then all you have to do is set the directories in FL's options. Really easy! And way easier to locate!

It's only retarded because you didn't try Google first.
"fl studio refresh plugin" (http://www.fruityloops.com/help/html/basics_externalplugins.htm) leads you to your solution.

I can always do the right click but the plugins don't show up in the browser thingy on the left side of the screen.
