Hmmm...Well this is odd. Aero had a MUCH MUCH better song the first round, and knocked our boxxors off. Not saying this is bad though. Quite the contrary. Nice groove, nice all around. Good theme usage, and scattered throughout.

Pixelwave...BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Seriously TONE DOWN THAT BASS a little. Had to turn my sub down at first because it was rattling everything practically. Nice atmosphere, caused by reverb on everything. Like being in heaven almost. I hear both sources as well.

Both tracks are good, and I LOVE to see newcomers bring their A-game. However, while AeroZ doesn't bring it this round, he still gets my vote. Sorry Pixelwave, the massive bass killed yours for me. Still great work though. Keep it up and you'll be a star someday.

Real quality music, pixelwave. Your use of Jewel Man's theme is really, really fun to lsiten to. I didn't hear much Toad Man, but apparently Draconiator did, so I suppose you arranged it to the point where I can't hear it the first couple of listens.

AeroZ, you begin off perfectly, and then move into a real groovy Jewel Man. From there, the two themes (mostly Jewel again for whatever reason) just dance about in such a funktastic manner, that I can't ignore it. The very ending was perfect too.

While I couldn't help but think Jewel Man dominated both tracks (or again you both may have arranged Toad Man beyond recognition), I'll have to give my vote to AeroZ.

Lots of Jewel man everywhere.
Aeroz did the better job of incorporating Toad Man. But I found that Pixelwave's track had the more unified soundscape.
After a near week of listening to these tracks I've concluded that I like Aeroz's track better.

AeroZ's track kinda made me think of sonic 1 tracks with the style gone for here. While it is funky, it didn't grip me nearly as much as his round one mix. Solid but didn't really do anything for me.

I'm really digging the laid back feel of Pixelwaves mix tho. Seems like the non-ocr artists are really holding their own this round in a big way. Production is pretty good too, but this one goes down to style preference. I vote Pixelwave.

Both great songs in their own way.

Definitely will be listening to Pixelwave's more, though: that one's going on my "trying to get work done" playlist. The song's perfect for it, since it doesn't have any flaring production flaws that make it distracting to listen to, and it's nice and relaxing, so it doesn't get me too pumped up to make me forget what I was doing.

Voting for Pixelwave, who is quickly becoming one of my favorite remixers.
