  1. Looks like I'll be joining this party! This is going to be fantastic.
  2. Glad to see I'm not the only one that uses Sony Acid around here! I've been using it for so long, I haven't really seen a reason to learn something else. I appreciate the comments from everyone, and I'm very excited to be on OCRemix. I'll definitely keep all this in mind when I get to work on my next tune.
  3. I really dig this version. Are you just running the guitars through a POD? Pretty killer tone. And it took me a couple of listens to pinpoint what this reminds me of, but this is reminiscent of old-school In Flames, which is always a good thing. This really brings me back to the summer of '96 and the countless hours I spent playing this game. Good times!
  4. All of my songs are guitar-based, so the length of completion depends. I usually spend about 3 or 4 hours learning how to play the song and the accompanying harmonies. Here's where I start to introduce my original content and alternative arrangement ideas. I spend another 3 or 4 hours programming drums, rehearsing the parts, and maybe recording scratch tracks for my own benefit. The recording process could take me anywhere between 3 and 5 hours, depending on how well I'm on my game that day and how many tracks I need to record. Then I could sit and mix the song forever and never be completely happy with it. Realistically, I might spend 2 hours mixing. So over a few-day spread, I could probably complete a song in 12-15 hours. That's for an average length 5-minute track for me.
