- I'm Dave. Full name - David O'neal Roberts. I'm country and I grew up in the woods, but I'm quite educated despite my background. I have a huge amount of respect for nature and spirituality, but I scorn hippies (well, a lot of them). I edit software at day, and I have multiple positions at a Brewery (night job). I love making music, and I also enjoy video games (especially the ones from the eighties and early nineties). I enjoy beer and I smoke a lot of cigarettes. Oddly enough, I also enjoy going to the gym. I like animals, and I have a dog, a cat, and a hamster. I have a girlfriend too. She takes care of my sorry ass. It's hard going out with her, because she gets hit on every where we go. Maybe that's why we hang out at home so much.
I play guitar in a band called Lipid. We're working on a new record. We hope to relocate eventually, in hopes of finding success. Hey, we're likely to fuck up, but at least we'll know we tried.
I've played guitar for 11 years. People say that I'm great, but I still find the guitar to be confusing. I don't believe guitarists are really better than each other. It's all about preference. Everyone really does have their own style, and I always respect that. I think that policy goes with any type of instrument or musical style.
There's nothing more cathartic then having synergy with your fellow musicians at a live show - bringing that power to an audience, while the band and audience feed off of each other. It's a wonderful feeling and nothing else can replace it.
Music - classic punk (Ramones, Misfits, Vandals), the better musicians of the eighties (The Police, The Cars, Genesis, Cyndi Lauper). I really like odd bands like 311 and the Pixies, and I have a fixation on power metal as well. I also love Totally Radd, but I don't know how to categorize them. Video game music is a no-brainer. I love the music from the following games and series: Ninja Gaiden, Double Dragon, Megaman, Final Fantasy, Legacy of th - Location
