Default Megaman Zero 2 First Stage Resub - Moving Forward

Hey all, and old mix I did just made it through the queue and I got some sound advice on how to improve it, so I set to work. Here's the judges decision topic:
http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=25493

I've made a ton of production changes and cleaned it up a lot overall. What else does it need? Here's the old one for comparison: http://tindeck.com/listen/qfiz

And the new mix of it:

Oldish:

Please listen and leave feedback, thanks!

EDIT: Updated link, made rhythm guitars mesh with the vocals at the end better. Also smoothed out the intro a little bit so it should be easier to listen to.

EDIT 2: Redid the mastering. It shouldn't be clipping / overcompressed anymore.

I think this is the one I'm going to submit. Any thoughts, anyone?

The only two things that probably I might pull apart is the beginning rhythm guitar and the mashing of the rhythm guitar and the vocals bit.

The beginning section seems a tad overbearing to listen than the lead, which may push away listeners that may not know the source. Give it a mid-range sound but not so much that it becomes a minor part of the sound altogether.

The vocals mashing with the rhythm guitar suffers a similar effective problem. While doing it with the guitar may work, the vocals itself suffers if done the same way. Would be better to filter it as though you got half of it in voice and the other half through a "megaphone" kind of sound filter. Therefore the song can have a better sounding body to it, if you catch my drift.

Otherwise, it's a good rendition.

Alright, I made the rhythm guitars mesh with the vocals at the end better. Also smoothed out the intro a little bit so it should be easier to listen to. Redid some of the mixing on the drums so they sound better.

Sounds a lot cleaner now. Now probably have to go into the technical bits that the J's suggested to you regarding your last sub and you probably got a re-finished product. Unless there's something major that people missed.

I PM'd BGC and got some great advice, so I redid the mastering. It shouldn't be clipping / overcompressed anymore, here's the newest version:

Quick thoughts.

The intro sounds a bit narrow, and the bass sounds like it could use a bit more dirt/balls, given the style of the song.

The percussion work is mediocre, and the snare needs to be fixed. It's overpowering everything, and needs to be properly EQ'd. The lead guitar has too much pitch wavering going on. Cymbal work is a bit messy and noisy... Quite a few distractions there.

A bit more clarity in the synthing ~1:05, and lowering the volume / changing the sound of the percussion would bring that section out a bit more.

I appreciate the scream in the beginning, and the quality of the vocal technique brought in later, ~2:09, but the lack of clarity makes it sound like every other screamo song in existence. Also, bring the panning back a little bit more.

The weird vocal thing at ~1:45 doesn't really contribute, and serves mainly as a "what's going on?" moment.
