But I wonder if everyone thinks she does their own city's/country's accent horribly. Quote:

I mean most people (that I've asked) can barely imitate one or two other accents accurately at all

I was personally creeped out that she got the Cali one spot-on (I'm from around there and people from there have that manner of speaking), and the southern one... well, anyone can do that, I suppose.
Even the ones that weren't totally right illustrate the point. |

Of course she's got talent and it was super impressive. But maybe she didn't do a lot of research for a couple of them. Or maybe some people in Ontario use an accent that I've never heard before. I don't even live in Ontario, so that's not a farfetched a possibility.
So how about that movie? =] I don't know why, but the Prince's name in the movie, "Dastan", sounds eerily familiar. Yet in the game (as far as I know) they made a point of not giving him a name, and I can't think of anywhere I might have heard the name before. Bah, I probably just read the name in an old article about the Sands of Time movie.

I can understand not wanting to deal with it for telling the story, but it's a nice tradition from the old games. dang, I really want to play the first two again now. damned good games, those
