Sticky in the projects section ?
Considering the number of thread in the http://ocremix.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=21 section, it'd be cool to have a sticky thread listing the projects that are looking for people and the others that are full/complete/almost released, or something.
Just saying, what do you think ? |

Oh my bad, it's because I only check in the Project section and less often check the recruit/collab. Thank you ;)

Yeah I'm not sure which forum is the right one for that thread. Could go either way.

Personally, If I was going to look for projects to join, I'd go to the projects forum. Can't speak for everyone here but I think it would be most logical to put it in projects.

Problem is Projects is closed off only to officially-recognized projects at the time. If you're looking to join something at all, it makes sense to look at the recruitment section for official and unofficial alike.

I reckon that if you've been here long enough, you might know how the project system works.
But for newcomers looking to join, this Official/Unofficial concept can be mighty confusing. The 'Recruit and Collab' section is fairly new, and not that many people are checking it. Maybe there could be two separate posts (one for each category) in their respective section? |

Quote:
Move Projects to the R&C. Move old, locked project threads to Album C/R. Rename ^ Official Projects. Create a new subforum for Diverse Projects. Let ppl run their unapproved/non-ocr projects there. Add "almost always looking for more ppl" to their subforum descriptions. Keep recruitment for off-site projects in R&C, also collabs and stuff. (edit: removed the forum rules suggestion... we have a "guidelines" sticky, which I just noticed Darke did. :D Could be written more clearly - shorter or with a summary of the guidelines. but it's there. makes me happier.)

I like Rozo's idea.
BTW, couldn't we just put the sticky in both the R&C forum and the Projects forum?
