Can't say I was a fan of the song name personally, but I found Brandon's take on this quite intriguing - the approach was unorthodox, and Brandon did a great job providing a bit of mystery in this song that has a bit of a jazzy feel to it in some ways primarily due to the mellotron. The transition to a more assertive rock style in the latter part of the song was handled well and adds a sense of progression in the song.

This version has quite a bit of polish compared to some of the previous takes of it, and I'm thankful Brandon decided to revisit it and smooth things out since this version is superior to older versions. It was a welcome addition to Maverick Rising!

I, too, am not a huge fan of the source but Brandon definitely puts a slow spin on it. The source is a lot faster and hearing a slower version of it was somewhat of a shocker. I was actually turned off from this song at the start but after hearing it a few times on my iTunes randomization feature, it quickly grew on me.

Now all he needs to do is get some of those Planet Wisp mixes posted onto OCR as we all need some Sonic Colors lovin'.

Ah, I was waiting for this to show up on the front page since hearing it on the MMX album a while back.

Definitely my favorite remix at the moment, and probably goes in my personal top 20 of all time.

I recommend checking it out even if you're not a fan of the source, it has a very different feel than the original (which is pretty average, in my opinion).
