Hmm, this is definitely a new one for chrono trigger, no to mention the first 2300 AD (for that area). The style in which this remix is done is, I think, very befitting for the song. I'd say go and listen to it for a new type of Chrono Trigger remix.

Sweet stuff. All the sounds work really well together and bring a really cool atmosphere and attitude to life. I'm not a fan of the bass kick sample used, however. Great work.

I didn't recognize the original theme that this remix was based on yet that's not necessarily a bad thing: this piece has a catchy swing-techno motif and moves through the various segments quite well (no particularly jarring transitions). The sample use is standard electronica fare with no major quirks to distract the listener from the more inspired parts of the interpretation...
That said, the bass kick does suffer in places where it is repeated quickly. Quite catchy. Give it a listen.

Its ummm...different.
The fruity kick kills it for me...that and that it sounds a little empty...yea yea thats how you wanted it blah blah blah, I dont need to hear it. Over all its listenable...Not your best. I really liked your FF6 one more. Well thats really all..the kick and the emptynessnessnessness.... Overall some not bad stuff going on here. Gman |

Very very catchy tune for the most part. I didn't recognize the fact that the music was fromt he 2000ad section of the game until the 2:30 mark of the song.
I'm still determining if I'll keep this on my play list for long. Not your 100% best work man, but it's not bad either. |

Bah, what the hell, no one likes the kick drum? It's actually a synthesized kick, and not a sample... I personally think it fit very well with the style I was going for. I didn't want it to be breakbeat, and I didn't want it to be trance. I DID want it to be electro... I think the kick pulls that off quite nicely. But whatever, an opinion's an opinion.

The first word that came to my mind when listening to this mix: Pimpin'. Yup, the deep resoinating notes gave me the mental image of someone walking down the street... in a pimage kinda walk, the cane, furry jacket, sunglasses and all. Y'know doing the whole *gunshot with hand* kinda move to the ladies when he passes by, gotta love the mix, biatch!
