Rock Band Network

Not sure if there was an older thread or not but hey...

Harmonix announced the list of approved songs for Rock Band Networks rumored launch in mid March.

Bang Camaro, The Midnight Riders, Johnathan Coultan, Flight of the Choncords, and sooooooo much more.

I said something about this last night in IRC. I know there are a few new testament songs like Henchmen Ride. Can't wait to get these when they are released.

Yeah, L4D2 midnight riders. Also more bands will be adding to it as it becomes more popular. I know a couple of bands that I talk to sometimes have said they are interested in it, but they are just waiting to see how well the launch will go before committing their time to it. But then again one of those bands has a song on Guitar Hero, so they should know how well stuff sells.

Now to sit back and see how they'll handle this for Wii and PS3 owners. There's some excellent stuff in the list of songs that are live right now that I really wanna play.

Or they can just give us "Even Rats" by The Slip, and I'll be happy. However they wanna do it.

I picked up the FFDP song for me, and the Flogging Molly tracks for the wife. But damn this is gonna be good when they get it rolling full steam.

Now the question is how long until some OCR artists get on this.

There have been a couple threads about this already. And interest seemed low for whatever reason. I've been contacting various artists about it about charting for them (Prince of Darkness, Nekofrog, and Kidd Cabbage all seem to be on board so far).

If others are interested, send me a PM or post here. I've been charting for a long time now; you can see some of my customs on my YouTube channel. If you've got some good (original) music, we can talk RBN.
