But even I'll admit that going public on the same night as Serious Monkey Business is a pretty cheap way to cash in But it's obviously not going to steal any of the limelight away from SMB; it only stands to increase the general level of DKC-related hype around the site. And since Taucer, Bahamut, or any of the other staff gave me the go-ahead, I figured I'd just go for it.

This is good news DK3 had awsome soundtracks well the snes mostly the gba did have some funky ones I liked swankeys turbo tunnel or what you call it anyway good luck on the project and I'll be looking forward to it, Can't wait to hear the water world remixed my fav track

Glad to find that there's so many people who like the GBA soundtrack, or are at least familiar with it. And for those of you who are checking it out because of this project, that makes me feel awesome that I've been able to publicize Dave Wise's awesome work a bit more. Everyone's familiar with what he and Eveline did on the SNES half, but a big motivation here is to raise awareness about an awesome soundtrack that not a ton of people know about. So cool!

Neither - it's based off of the bird variety of emus

I was pissed when I got DKC3 GBA and found out it was a different soundtrack. But I got used to it, and I'm glad to see that you're covering that one too. Still prefer the original, but meh.

Most of them are below par, yeah, but there's a handful (I count 3 or 4) that are still really good source tunes. Plus, you can always dual-claim with someone else, so you're free to do whatever the hell else you want I just *prefer* for totally unclaimed tracks to get done so we get as much variety on the album as possible.

Status update: Brandon Strader just switched over to "Hangin' With Funky" which means that Stilt Village (SNES) is now unclaimed. It's a fun track that could easily translate into something happy and folksy, so check it out if you're up for something like that
