Lets be honest. Game freak could come out and say "yeah, we're still making pokemon," and we'd buy everything they'd give us until we died.

That being said, I'm ridiculously over-pumped for this game already. The closest thing to a direct sequel we had was Gold/Silver/Crystal, and those were some of the best games out of the series IMO.

It seems to be coming out in Autumn 2012 in both the US and EU. I've never seen such a fast announcement for all three regions, even though it was almost obvious that BW2 would be localized.

In case anybody wants to know the names of the version mascots, Black 2's mascot is simply called Black Kyurem and White 2's mascot is called White Kyurem. They are also featured Pokemon in the upcoming Pokemon movie, Pokemon: Kyurem and the Sacred Swordsmen. More to come.
