Donkey Kong Country 2 'Brambly Rivers'

Interesting stuff here - Wintermute's more upbeat version of the Bramble theme is a lot more complex than it first seems. Though I don't care much for the samples, it is overall a worthwhile listen.

it's got a nice beat to it, I enjoy listening to this mix. But I will admit, after a while, the noise does irritate the ears a bit...but then again, if it's too loud, you're too old :p

This is one of my fave ReMix's ive got in my collection. It seems to make me want to listen over and over again though as djp say's the ending is abrupt and i to, would of liked something special to cap a fine piece of mixing off. I can see it won't please everyone but DKC fans should d/l this as it is, nonetheless still a top tune.

Sweet remix. I like Proticity's version better, but it doesn't mean this one isn't that good. It has some good beats. Some of the instrumentation could have been changed though, like in the beginning. Otherwise, we have one killer techno remix.

Not the greatest, I'd reccomend Protricity's better. Unless of course, you like speeded up songs of slower music.

Right from the off I knew I wouldnt like this one.

The drums are annoying...

The choice of synths is good, but pulled of very very badly.

And then at 0:50 some more synths come in that stab at your ears...thats always fun. They sound like you just took a MIDI, sped it up and these stabs were piano chords that you stuck with the wrong soundfont...

The panning of the melody is done nicely, though...thats an upshot.

The ending is also bad...just a direct cut-off after a few beats...I would have preferred this one last note to have been longer...then it would actually be a good enidng.

OVerall, I really dont like this at all...and I cant think of anyone I recommend it to.

Yeah, it may not be fall on the floor amazing, but I wrote lyrics to the tune of this ReMix. So...it's alittle heart-n-soul to me. HEY! If anyone want to see them (I know, I know, BORING!), just lemme know! I'll happily...make them...available...for...well, reading, I guess.
