Chrono Trigger 'Guardia Forest Spirits'

Loops and fades out, but that's about the only beef I have with this. Overall it's a great rendition of the Guardia Forest theme.

BTW, anyone else here know a little peice of trivia about this one? Namely, that Daknit got it played at a strip club? :)

A nice take on the Gaurdia forest theme, but nothing extremely original. Very true-to-the-game remix. Slightly creepy, with good a well-played melody on piano, backed up with a nice bass and some neat wind effects. I personally like the slow, brooding style of Scott Peeples' recent rendition, but this is a good one, too. Keep it up mp! =D

A nice remix that stays true to the original spirit, although there are a couple of problems notewise, specifically at :40, :51, 2:20, and 2:31 with the accompaniment. It's only a minor thing, but it drives me crazy in such a nice original tune and sort of sticks out whenever I hear it. Not something extremely spectactular or original, but if you like the original tune, you'll like this one. Trust me...

Yeah buddy, this is awsome, kinda like what i did with 600 AD. I would say check it out but its on VGMIX which is down now and this guy never replies to me so i can never post my stuff on OC. I'll give a link later if i can. (I like to hear this style in other games and hear more from this artist). Peace out y'all.

7.5/10- A good mix, but the clairnet sounded completely separate from the rest of the song, meaning it sounded like it was very loosely "tacked on". I love the piano part though.

Please... All this piece is, is the original song overlapping some poorly adapted creation. I give this piece a .05/10 for effort, and 1/10 because the original piece was already good, before it was massacred.

I have to agree. The piano, the flute,the synth, it´s almost exactly as the original but with a little more echoes, so i rather keep the original.

But the pianos that melted together around 1:20 were actually pretty good.

I don't really see a difference between this and the original, and the oboe was way too loud and not blended with the rest of the instruments.
The acoustic guitar was nice sounding, and the highlight of the mix for me. I think this just needs a little polish and a lot more interpretation and it'd be golden.

i know this is supposed to be a remix site and all that jazz, i just don't care that you bothered to make it unique or not. It's just good and that's all there is to say. No if's and's or but's. Congrats :D
