Zelda 'Essential Links'

The reverbing on the drum lines causes a constant hiss from the higher
bits. The rest of the remix is a simple synth cover of the classic
zelda theme song, backed by a simple bass line, and later a timpani
support line. Nothing too fancy.

I don't take this remix would make it today. Sweet to the ear, but I don't find it creative enough, too repetitive and close to the original.

This mix should be subtitled "or, Link Does Electroclash." For some reason this tune is so dead-on reminiscent of Ladytron and Felix da Housecat one can't help but wonder if it would do well in a New York club. Good stuff!

hmm... i remember the times when i used to play this game and sing along to the music... heh i also remember the times when i used to sing just the music.... wait, that was yesterday..... oh well!
i often found that video game music was sometimes better than 'real' songs.... oh well, i like it... its simple, but simples good!

ZELDA music is great. This remix is quite simple, has a ridiculous reverb, and the EQ is bad. But it's all good.
