Default OCR00118 - Castlevania II 'Bloody Tears Inspired'

Castlevania 2 'Bloody Tears Inspired'

Very nice interpretation of the Bloody Tears theme. The original aspect
puts a nice spin on the theme, building off of it in a totally new melody,
but still maintaining the feel of the original. Neat.

Default "Castlevania Inspired" - the story - THE LOST LYRI

Well, I did this remix after recording 2 CDs full of MIDI-CV Files played back on my own synths... After that, I was so fully immersed in CV melodies I simply HAD to do a remix. First there was a rather long intropart, all that remains of this is the reversed melody bit in the beginning. And I tried to sing on this tune, here's a sample of the text: (begin singing when the lead guitar starts) "When the full moon rises/ and a hundred years have passed / evil creatures gather / to revive their lord at last / but the vampire must die another belmont ventures out /to destroy the evil count / they battle all the monsters in the halls of fear / Belmont's beware, you'r enemy is near! / " Why din't I post the lyrics-version? I can't sing, and I can't sing English accent free. If you're INTERESTED in the lyrics version, I can send you a 2 MB remix of it, if you want, but as I said, it's a sad display of non-existant vocal talent....

I LOVE the guitar solo, it was great fun to play on my KawaiK5000S , it has nothing to do with the original tune, but who cares

I did in fact enjoy this piece. You've got Diablo's approval for sure. Excellent stuff

There are soooo many remixes on this site and i rarely download and listen to new ones because of the sheer number of them. I dont often give them a chance.

I am VERY glad I downloaded and listened to this remix. Techno is not usually my cup of tea but this remix does it very well and is very catchy. It is hard not to put this song on repeat and listen to it!

This song rocks!

This is one of my favorite remixes I've ever found on oc remix, and definately one of the best from castlevania. The intro is cool with the reversed melody, and then the simple but effective drums. I really love the background synths that kick in. The speed and the just plain sound of them are great. My favorite part of this song though is the large buildup at the ending, and then those few notes on the guitar right before it drops off. Gives me tingles everytime I hear it. Great piece, from one of my favorite remixers. =D

I dunno, this just seems kinda flat to me, reminds me too much of simpler/older original game music. I don't think it's bad but don't think it's that great, either.

For some reason this remix reminds me of the kind of music I'd hear listening to a Ninja Turtles movie. Not that I mind, because I love those movies and I really like this Remix. Well done.

Default excellent

AP pulls together a wall of sound quite literally unheard of in the world of eight bit games. I think it would be increadible if you overwrote the original soundrack of an Eight bit emulator with the works of AP and other remixers.
