Oh poppa, r u gonna luv this one ^^ What was already a fantastic track originally (Bloody Tears) has been taken to new heights by Kaijin AND Ailsean - each masters of the ReMix trade in their own right. This is sort of like 'Clash of the TItans' only in this case the Titans are helpin' each other make a kickass CV ReMix. This also pisses me off because I've been wanting to mix something from CV for along time myself and this ups the ante considerably, imo :) What we got, listeners, is a jaw-dropping rock'n'roll fest, with mighty Ailsean lending some crunchy lead guitar to Kaijin's immaculate accompaniment. A perfect collaboration, as each ReMixer's strengths are optimized to the utmost to bring friggin' fantastical ear candy straight to your noggin'. This ain't your momma's Castlevania ReMix ^^ So in case you can't tell, I consider this an ABSOLUTE must-have for all listeners, regardless of race, creed, color, religion, sexual preference, or opinion of the film 'Goonies'. Magic 8 Ball says: You will download it. From the phaser on da guitar at one point to the smokin' drum track, what else can I say but: quality.

What? I have to see this!
And this remix is still great for being as old as it is. I really like the style of it. Reminds me of a high-production doujin arrange.

For its age, this one actually holds up pretty well, way better than I remember it, as I was only big on the intro back in the day. The phasing synth in the middle handling the melody could have been more graceful in terms of the sequencing, but was a great concept. Pretty nice stuff that was very interpretive and creative.

B. I was simultaneously listening to this and browsing the internet. I happened to be on the OneUp Studios forums. While reading one of Mustin's comments, I couldn't help but pay closer attention to his signature image than I usually do. Wait until about 12 seconds in and then look at this image:

You should do something with that on this forum too Mustin. :D

And for the previous post, this remix was based off a NES game, which would be pretty tough to pull of rockingness on the NES (but there may have been a few "rocking out" songs on the NES. Somebody mentioned Marble Madness - Level 2 I think once). They just seem to translated to hard rock/metal/whatever it's called so well, that is why there are so many remixes in that style at OCR, from goat (powergoat.com), Megadriver (megadriver.com.br), Minibosses (minbosses.com), and Konami themselves (check out http://www.classicgaming.com/castlevania and go to the multimedia page).

Okay, that was three...but can you blame me? This mix is completely, and TOTALLY kick butt. I salute you, Ailsean, and Kaijin. You rock. SO hard.
