Final Fantasy VII

A quick one to start the weekend off, from Matt Pollard. Note that the chocobo theme appears in many FF games, but I arbitrarily chose FF7 to make things easier. Unlike most of Pollard's mixes, this is less melody-intensive and more groove-based, with loops that trade off often, some nice chocobo 'chirps' and an electronic rendition of the cute little theme (which gets a bit more edge at 1'11" when a fuzztone guitar chord backs it up). Nice layering of beats upon beats makes for a shorter but funky track. Word.

Fun mix, although there's not much to it heh.

Pretty cool remix, seems slightly simplistic but it certainly is fun to listen to.
The warks and kwehs are a nice touch, and they are mixed well.
The beginning is pleasant although a little humdrum, around 1:11 is where it begins to get interesting.
Overall it's quite the entertaining remix, excellent job.

Fun mix, lots of chocobo warks, and randomly a tuba melody thrown in. Short, sweet, weird, and quirky. Not something I'd listen to often, but I grinned a little.

A bit too basic for my tastes, the chocobo noises were fun, but overall it was 8bit melody and then drums.
At least it was short.

I wasn´t expecting this. Yeah, it had that cute chocobo melody including real choco-voices, but the prescense of some heavy beats and drums really caught me with my guard of. This is some cool and funky techno(I believe), the synth was okay, gpt some sort of jungle-feel to it. To sum this mix up with one word, this remix was...ummm...what was it again?

Yeah that´s it.

it's chocoboliucous.

Ah, this is one of those songs i love and hate. I dont appreciate this kind of music, but none the less, the chocobo kwehs/warks are a great thing in the song, as well as the fact that the chocobo theme is the best. Keep the chocobos coming man!

Hrm...I was expecting to hear some phat "Fat Chocobo" theme action going on here. Alas, it's more of the same ubiquitous normal Chocobo theme.
I shouldn't complain, though. It's got a nice groove, and has a good balance of both "GoGoBoco" and "DJ Chubby C" elements. It could probably stand to have a more satisfying bassline in the fat/phat parts, but overall it's pretty well done. Recommended for any FF fan. :)

YES!!!
Every time I hear this, I get a mental picture of the classic chocobo, alias: GoGoBoco, and Fat (or is it "Phat") Chocobo, aka: Dj Chubby C, deciding once and for all who's better on the turntables.
I'm generally not a huge fan of this kind of music. However, My usual oppinion has proven itself again: "No matter what you do to a chocobo theme, it's still obscenely cool."
Calling all remixers: Keep the Chocobo remixes coming!

Final Fantasy 7 'DJ Chubby C vs. GoGoBoco!'
Kinda short and undeveloped, but this is still a cute version of the Chocobo theme. I especially like the use of the chocobo sound as a substitute for a vinel scratch! Overall, not somthing I'd listen to on a regular bases, but still worth a download to hear it at least once.
